Ever since I started on my recover plan (the 2,500 calorie plan that is) I have been really, really worn out. I always feel like I have just come back from a long run, which is weird because I am being ordered to be completly inactive. Some days I just crash in the middle of the day and feel like I want to just lay in a bed the rest of my life. I know its not due to lack of calories or nutrients since I am getting in the 2,500, taking a b-100 complex, taking a mens multi-vitamin and making sure I eat all of the food groups. I am thinking it might be because I don't sleep at all really, but that can't be it because I have never slept but 2-4 hours a night and always felt normal. Any theorys or advice? Thanks.
Cheers.

it's because you are actively healing. It takes a lot of energy. it's probably due in part to depression issues... go with it, sleep when your body tells you to. your body is re-adjusting, and that's a good thing. relax. and get more sleep! :)

Been there. On my 'weight gain diet' I would get tired and worn out... Basically from my body processing all this new food and building itself back up. It's normal, don't fret. Just go with it.

ANother thought... Do try sleeping. I find if I'm not eating enough I tend to not sleep, when I'm eating properly I need 8-9 hours a night. Sleeping might come hand in hand with a healthy diet. Yea?

I think the lack of sleep could definitely be affecting you, even if thats your "normal" amount of sleep. Try to get yourself on a regular schedule for sleep, going to bed 11 or 12, and getting up around 8 or 9. I tend to do better going to sleep at a decent hour than going to bed in the middle of the night, even if I get the same exact number of hours of sleep.

You might talk to your doctor. I agree with everyone that it might have to do with lack of sleep. But I definitely know the "crash" problem you speak of.
