Mission: The VeggieBoards Hamster Club is a group of fitness/health minded vegans and vegetarians who support each other in their endeavors in fitness, diet, and health. Anyone who chooses can post to this thread. There are no dues or fees, just a desire to share our efforts and support one another.

yesterday- 4mi walking.
today- 3mi walking and 50min aerobics.
3 mile run today at 7:00am - just as the sun was peeking up over the horizon, and filtering it's deep orange glow through the trees and onto the grass. What a view... I'm talking about the fine ladies running there. The sunrise was nice too don't get me wrong. :hamster:
Ok still doing tae kwon do, not so good at checking in here. I do it twice a week- plus lots of jumping and practice in my spare time. I did my first grading on sunday. Just come back from class and found out I passed!!! So now I am yellow tag!
The grading was pretty scary as loads of people watching. I think I have tried to forget most of it. Was pretty nervous!
Anyway lets keep hamstering! :hamster:

45 minutes yoga
500 crunches
some butt stuff (buns of steel, haha!)
a little bit of free weights with 10 lbs, all i've got here.
the gym is closed again b/c all the power went out here..blah, that's getting old.
jumproping (500x)...except i think i did it too soon after i ate, and i was kneeling over the toilet for abou ten minutes afterwards. with nothing to show for it!

lesson of the day, let your food digest more before you jump rope.

Sunday I had junior miss practice, involving about 2 hours of fitness/dancing. My calves are hurting - my back still hurts from last week, but not as much.

-walk with Filo - approx .5 to .75 mile
(I was gone about 20 minutes. We had a run in with a puppy whose asshole owner let him run around in the street, and Filo wouldn't move! Then the puppy wouldn't stop following us. No one was in sight, so I ended up turning around and heading back home. Before I even got home, yet another dog was running around in the street. Geez, people are ignorant around here.)

So, on Saturday, I ended up doing a 6 mile run... I went 42:30, but my legs have been pretty useless ever since! :hamster:
Sunday was a 2 mile swim and today was a 4 1/2 mile run followed by extensive leg stretching (ouch!) and a little Pilates.

Yesterday:
1/2 hour eliptical, 1/2 hour treadmilling, walking to the gym and back
Today:
1/2 hour on the elip. 15 mins treadmill, 45 mins walking with the big ol stroller, biking to work, biking later - about 20 miles all together. Good day! :)
Burned off 1200 cal's today. 1.5 hours on the elliptical, 30 minutes running on an altitude plane at 7 miles per hour...whew. But I wasn't even tired. It almost felt effortless!

sunday did 10 minutes elliptical and 30 minutes weight lifting
monday ran 3 miles
today i was going to run but i was in the grocery store and knelt down to get something and there was this crack! and now my knee is stiff. I think i'm going to take today off and try again tomorrow.

Uhgh. Speed workouts in the marsh when it was hot (65°F maybe).
About a 2 mile walk down to the marsh for practice, which we did as a fast walk
5 900meters
Ran the 2 miles back.
I?m gonna do some ab workouts later.

treadmill - 2.5 miles, 3.5/4 mph w/ speed/incline intervals - 39:45 min
Eh, slack ass again.
Ugh, so much for this week being back to normal :tired: Anyhoo, Sunday I went for a 4 mile run. I now have exercise class Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thur., I do cardio karate Tue. & Thur. and on Mon. & Wed. I do something called basic training...but I have a new name for it...'Erin's house of pain' (Erin is the instructor):)

So today was 60 min weights and 35 min rollerblading. :hamster:
1 1/2 hours of bjj practice. ~630 jumping jacks, ~630 sit-ups, 15 push-ups (then holding push-up position until everyone finished their set).

yesterday was 4mi walking and 80min of yoga.
today will just be 3mi walking and some crunches.
15 minutes elliptical
5 minutes bicycle
tomorrow will return to running! Woo!

ugh. today was my first cross country meet, so 3.1 miles. Lets just say I have had better runs. I hurt my foot last weekend (I thought I had just bruised my heal, but evidently it was more) and that started giving me hell around mile 2. Then I got a horrible stomach ache. Afterwords I was fine and was totally pumped up, but during thoughts of never running again crossed through my head.

10 miles of pedal power today. 3 miles of jogging (the weather is divine here right now....about 68 Fahrenheit, breezy and overcast). About 2 miles of walking, 1/2 of which was with 2 bags of groceries. Weight lifting and walking so I can eat :lol:
