Wednesday:
lots of walking, nice long bike ride-30ish miles
yesterday:
eliptical-30 mins, treadmill-15 minutes, walking with kiddos-about 4 miles, long bike ride in the cool evening air

When y'all are working out...do you listen to music, watch TV, read, zone out...
Just curious :)

I like to listen to music when I work out. I attach my ipod to my arm when I go running. At jiu-jitsu we listen to belly dancing music. Only because there is a belly dancing class next door. It really works when you want to pass someone's guard... you just do a little belly dancing move, and whalla! I used to listen to the radio, but it seemed every time I started running thats when the commercials started and the dj's kept talking and talking and talking making me more tired and exhausted.

Yesterday: 1 1/2 bjj practice (various warm ups, 440 ab excersices)

Today: I was going to go running at the park, but it was cloudy, so I went to the gym. 2 mile jog on the treadmill. I wanted to go 3 miles but I didn't make it, it seemed harder on the treadmill than at the park - I think it was a psychological thing... I was running, but I just was not going anywere. Either that or at the park I had motivation... because seeing 80 year old men running past, not breathing hard, while your dying.. it hurts. Then chest and biceps.

Thats all for today.

lots and lots of trampolining. I was at a birthday party at this gymnastics place that had 2 of the trampolines used in olympic trampolining and one a little more bouncy than a normal one. unfortunately we weren't allowed to do anything fun (i.e. dangerous).

I was going to go surfing, but the surf was crappy. hopefully conditions will be better tomorrow. I have a contest next weekend and want to get in as much surfing as possible before then

Friday:
Lots of biking, a long walk to the park. (slow day)
Saturday:
eliptical/treadmill, walking all over at the street fair
Today:
hitting the gym again eliptical/treadmill, rowing machine. Going to be doing some walking/canvassing later.

Another question...what do y'all do for upper body tone/strengthening? Lots of biking/running gives me "calves of steel" :) ,but I still have pretty wimpy arms.
