This recipe is suitable for a: vegetarian/vegan/raw diet.

Ingredients:
-----------------------------------------------------
banannas
almonds
dried fruit of your choice (i used apricots)
broad leaf lettuce (i use red leaf)

Instructions:
-----------------------------------------------------
soak the nuts and fruit over night. then blend or process each seperatly to create a smooth nutbutter and a "jelly". split the bananna lenthwise and spread nutbutter on one side and the "jelly" on the other. wrap up in a lettuce leaf and enjoy!

Additional comments:

i got this recipe out of Heigea Halfmoon's Primal Mothering in a Modern World and i really like it. the nutbutter and jelly keep very well for several days in the fridge making this a very convienient raw recipe! :)

It sounds yummy. Except maybe I'll have to sub lettuce for something else. My HFS sells raw bread. Mmmm!

Yes! It doesn't really look or feel like bread...it just has the same shape hehe. They sell raw cookies and crackers that do taste the same though.
