I hate posters, I'm not creative and unartistic, I would way rather do a presentation with notes or a powerpoint.
My hands just started shaking a minute ago and I can't get them to stop. It's really hard to glue stuff on straight with shakey hands.

Apparently I need to pass out chill pills around here. Stick out your tongue and grab a paper cup of water to wash it down. Geez.

i hate powerpoint. powerpoint is no fun, and everyone in my class was using it. it always makes for really insanely boring lectures when teachers try to use it, too.

I hate watching powerpoints too actually.
I have one teacher who has the whole years worth of classes all on powerpoint. Every class he starts up the powerpoint and reads off of it for 40 minutes while we copy it down. So boring.

I want a job but I think I'm too young. I'm pretty sure most places in the US won't hire until you're 16.

Crap, I'm out of glue, now what do I do, I can't tape stuff on a poster.

you can't tape stuff on the poster because you're not supposed to, it won't stick well enough, or you don't want it to show?

I don't want it to show and I'm afraid it won't stick. It's a shame I have no double-sided tape.
I could wait until Sunday and go out and buy glue, but I was hoping to finish tonight.
I think I might have this crappy glue around someplace, only problem is, it has a habit of bleeding through the paper. Maybe if I spread it really thin....

i would try folding the tape into little sticky squares so that it's like double-sided tape.

I found the crappy glue, I'll try it, if that doesn't work I'll use the tape.

What sort of paper are you using, misq? Would gluesticks work? I find they work better for thinner paper.

I have no gluesticks either :( Maybe I should buy some of them too although they never seem to stick as well. I'm just using regular crappy printer paper

rubber cement sticks really well. if not for the fumes, it'd be my favorite paper sticking substance. i assume you don't have any, though.

You can do my studying, I've got a bunch of tests I'm taking soon ;)
The clutter on my desk seems to have eaten my scissors, I may be forced to neaten up.

I'm annoyed, I just found out my library has been having one of their booksales (where softcovers are $0.25 and hardcovers are $1 and most stuff is in good condition) since Thursday. I can't make it until Sunday though which is the last day. That means everything good will be gone and I'll have to wait for the next one. It's my main source of books, they have about 4 a year and I buy over 20 books at each one usually.

I excavated my desk and found a ton of crap, mostly stuff I didn't even know I was missing.

I am in no way a cool freshman, the only reason I go to football games is to see all my friends who are in marching band :p
See, I don't think you understand. That makes you a cool freshman in my book  The people who don't go just to look like they're all that, people who go for a reason (like seeing friends perform or just to see friends in general). :)

Yeah, I know! I wish I knew where the fine arts department could've gotten him. Probably a leftover from the life sciences, I guess...
He'd be less scary if I knew who he was.
