Ladies,
The point of this poll is not to debate the medical/ethical reasons behind circumcision.
I am just curious as to whether you prefer the male member circumcized or intact? I chose to leave my son the way he was born (intact), however I have only ever been with my husband, who is circumcized. I am crossing my fingers that my son doesn't get the "ewww" reaction from the ladies! (a long time down the road, when that time comes) So, if any of you would like to share your opinion on the male member, please do so! thanks :D

In this situation I think what a person prefers/considers 'normal' can be largely influenced by what country/culture they grew up in.
I remember being shocked when i saw an episode of Sex&theCity and the characters were saying very unflattering things about an uncircumcised guy who one of them dated. They were being really nasty about uncircumcised men in general - I didn't understand why they seemed so grossed out *. Then of course i remembered that circumcision is far more common in the USA than in Australia or the UK (tho i don't know the stats).
I find it funny that an uncircumcised penis can be considered 'unnatural'.
Anyways, ive 'experienced' both and i dont mind. ;)
*yes i realise it's only a tv show...

There is also partial circumcision where they just snip a little off the top, basically whatever would cover the head, and leave the frenulum intact. This allows for more skin movement. http://www.circlist.com/styles/nicecutspartial.html

What do you mean by "been with" exactly? :P I feel like Clinton not having sexual relations with someone.
I've only had intercourse with circumcised persons. And with a condom whats the difference anyway?
I have, however, "messed around" shall we say of men of both breeds, and I think uncirc is totally cool :P I think most penises are pretty cool, but I think its even cooler in its original state.

I've only been with circumcised guys, but I don't care one way or the other. A lot of people think costemic reasons are enough, though, and I don't have a problem with that.

I've been with a few uncut men, and enjoyed it very much. There's no eww factor at all, because I don't think there's a huge difference in appearance, cleanliness, etc. At least not for the guys I was with.
When I was young(er), I was with an uncut guy who was apparently not fully retractable yet, and so the whole experience was weird and that's how I expected it to be with any uncut guy. Not the case! One uncut man was definitely the best I've ever had. The penis slides in and out much nicer without the need for additional lubrication. The downfall for this guy was that condoms were very difficult to use.
My husband is cut, but we did choose not to have our son cut. I am thankful we made this choice every day.

I've been with both, and said I prefered circumsized. It's not about foreskins being gross, but I think it comes from the fact that the one intact guy I was with wasn't exactly clean (the relationship didn't last long after that :p). I guess the lack of foreskin makes it easier to wash down there, and some guys just don't pay as much attention as they should.

This is what I was thinking. But I actually am not sure how to tell the difference. I haven't been with many guys, and I've never noticed. :o (Please nobody try to explain, I don't care.)
This is like, the ultimate thing that guys can't control, so I'd never hold it against someone. I know a couple of uncut guys who get really sensitive when this topic comes up. It's like, wtf do women want them to do about it? I think the idea of someone having to be ashamed of how their genitals look is really sad and unfair. I realize most people here aren't saying anything as extreme as all that, I'm just explaining why I don't care whether a guy is circumcized or not.

I used to be afraid of uncut men and had no idea what they look like. When I decided to do a research project about circumcision, I finally got to see the difference. And when they are erect, it's hard to tell the difference, the skin is just looser. But I still haven't gotten it on with any uncut men, as prepared as I may now be.

I've only been with circumsized men. I certainly like how they look, but if I fell in love with a 'natural' guy I don't think I'd have a problem with it. After all, I dont date a guy for his 'assets', physical love is just a wonderful benefit ;)

Exactly.
I never understand the whole cleanliness issue when it comes to uncircumcized men. It's about as hard to clean under the foreskin as it is to clean under the hood of the clitoris. "Lift, rinse, let go. Don't repeat, unless you need it" Whoop-dee.

I think if a guy can wipe his :moonpie: he can clean Mr. Happy :hamster:! I certainly don't hold blame if one guy is circumcised or one is not, and its neither make nor break... but I still think foreskin is cool :p

Aside from simply the way it looks, which is a matter of preference, there are some advantages to woman who partner with uncircumcised men.
There's usually more fluid/less need for lube, and the foreskin, when "retracted" (not the right word, lol) can make contact with the clitoris/vulva that a circumsised penis cannot.

by "been with" I mean, have had any type of experience with their penis :o
We are already teaching our little guy to "clean under the hood" Hopefully it will become a habit for him

I have been with both, and I prefer uncut. I think circumcision is unnatural and unnecessary. I prefer how intact looks, and I've found that its a lot easier movemen-wise during sexual activites...(uncut..for eg..I was scared to touch for hand jobs without any lube because there just wasn't any movement and I was worried I'd hurt him!).

That's what i was thinking when i watched that episode!! There was also the episode of Nip/tuck, where that guys son wanted his penis circumcised.
Circumcision is not common at all in the UK, at least not in the North East (I don't think so anyway  ). I've never experienced a circ'd penis. I don't agree with it either. I once watched a programme where they were circ'ing a baby, while it was fully awake and crying

I went through a phase where I was interested in the whole uncut thing. I'm not anymore.. I don't care either way.

I have been with both and prefer circumcised. I honestly find intact a little gross...it's definitely cleaner circ'd.

My father and twin brothers are uncut, so cut always seemed a little strange to me. I prefer uncut, but it's not a big deal to me.

Skid marks to me would translate to being unclean under the hood. I mean if you can't wipe your bum.... But I don't know. I've only been with cut men.

My fiance is uncut and he's quite clean, thank you very much. That is such an untrue stereotype.
I prefer uncut, probably because my first male lover was uncut and that's what I'm used to. I think they look much nicer--honestly, is the head of the penis so gorgeous that you have to see it all the time?--and sex is a bit easier for reasons already explained.
I think that for men my age (22) it is about 50/50. People will start getting used to penises in their natural state as it becomes the norm over time.

yeah, i don't know who you all been shaggin' but i gotta say i've been with both cut and uncut men and i've never had a problem with the uncut men being "dirty". perhaps the uncut men you were with had poor personal hygiene in general? which certainly has little to do with the state of their penis and more to do with their own standards of cleanliness.
the two great loves of my life have been uncut and i definitely prefer them that way. this isn't to say i would automatically forgo a relationship with a cut man...it's just that there's something really SEXY about a foreskin. i also feel kind of squeamish when i see a cut penis. after all these years of being with an uncut man, i can totally tell something's been removed, and it just doesn't look 100% "right" to me.
