I don't know what to vote. It doesn't explain the issue. I guess it should be licensed, right?

I can't tell you how to vote but I answered the question 'Should foxhunting be banned?' with 'Yes, It's Inhumane'. Not that I would put a great deal of stock in a poll run by the Daily Mail!

There should be loads of information on hunting with dogs and fox hunting around the web, here is something from the BBC:

It will most probably be banned, but only in 2 year's time. Blair doesn't want this to become an issue for their elections so he's postponing it until after the election. Apparently he promised in 1997 that Labour will outlaw it, but then again, he's a politician and politicians make lots of promises.

Some critics say that it's a ploy to get people to vote for him, because if the opposition wins the next election they can reverse the ban.

It should most definitely be banned. I've seen foxes ripped to death by packs of hounds and it's sick sadism. There is absolutely no justification for dozens of humans on horses chasing around the countryside with packs of kennel dogs after a wild fox.
There can be a lot of damage and one time my neighbour's pet cat was killed when the whole shower ended up in his private garden.
I have seen first hand numerous hunts, I live in the countryside surrounded by sheep and foxes and I hear a lot of Tory bollox being spouted by the likes of the Daily Mail and the countryside alliance. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
