ick. this morning did not get off to a good start, so i was happy to go to the gym. (but then some crackhead parked so close to my car i had to get in the freakin passenger side.

anyway.

20 minutes cross trainer
20 minutes bike
30 minutes treadmill
30 minutes lower body weights
500 crunches
stretching

i'm pretty tired, but i will either do some jumproping or yoga tonight. yoga sounds more appealing right now.

good job, cissy, and have a good week hamsters! :)

I've actually been working out, but not posting...not sure why.
Today I did 30 minutes on the eliptical and some legs, and spent the rest of my time at the gym socializing! I should set some goals here.
Good job, Cissy, ND, and Funk!! :) Look at you ladies, kicking some butt. I'm in here to be inspired!!

Friday:
2.1 mile run (my first time running all of it with no stopping.
Impossible ab work that left me and the two people i spent the weekend with still sore.
Saturday-rafting from 1:30-6:00. Class 3 rapids are so overrated...
I want to go on a 5 mile run tomorrow, but it all depends on the amount of homework I actually have.

rbm-wtg! Exercise makes me feel so good most days, I hope it will help with some of the body image issues you're dealing with.

WTG funk, NDV, Cissy and vs. :hamster:

Yesterday:
typical 30/30 at the gym, some biking, walking to/from gym, hitting balls at the batting cages...:)

Today:
treadmill/eliptical, rowing machine, nice long bike ride

Monday:
hopefully some nice biking (might rain) and lots of wiffleball! :)

6.5 mile run today. It was supposed to be fast but we started out slow...but the last half was brutal. But I set the pace and it felt good :D

Go Hamsters!!!!!!

Well the gym is closed today because of Labor Day--funny how things are closed on the days when you actually have more time to go to them! You could cut the humidity with a knife, but I braved it and went outside for an hour long walk.

today i ran on the treadmill (just a mile) and did upper and lower body weights. i haven't been a very good hamster lately...

but i do intend for that to change! school starts this week and i'm determined to exercise every single day but Sunday. it'll be hard getting out of my lazy spend-every-minute-in-the-country-with-my-boyfriend summer routine, though. :-/

Hi Hamsters,
4 mile run yesterday, today I started my cardio karate classes again….ooh man, I forgot how much harder it is to get up in the morning when it’s still dark…and chilly to boot. I’ll do an hour power walk today too. Here’s my plan for the rest of the week:
Wed. 4 mile run
Thur. Exercise class and a 3 mile run
Hmmm, I’ll be leaving Fri. on a little trip with some friends for the weekend so not much else…I’ll fit in a 4 mile run sometime over the weekend.

Cissy, great plan! Thanks for taking care of the thread Sunday.

Funk, that’s awesome!

ND, Great! What are v-ups?

rainbowmoon, Nice to see you, sounds like you’re doing good…don’t be a stranger:)

vegansurfer, great job on the run! That’s fantastic!!

IamJen,

annabanana, Great run!

Minmo, Great to see you again :hi: Glad you got out for your walk despite the humidity.

Way to go rabid_child!!

Mskedi, You’re a great Hamster, I’m sure you’ll get back in the swing of things:)

Go Hamsters!!!:hamster: :hamster:

Today I was in a super hurry so I only stayed at the gym long enough to do my eliptical trainer workout....30 minutes on cardio with a 5 minute cooldown at the end. It is so nice outside today though (making up for yesterday, I guess), so I will definitely be taking myself on a walk!

slynny, I'm going to try to keep posting around here, hopefully it will keep me moving. Today I went to swimming class, did various drills and swam some lengths and widths. I'm hoping to make it to the rec tonight but I have to see how the night pans out....:)
Keep up the good work, everyone!!

I did 30 minutes on the bike and some leg work. My knees pop whenever I do lunges though, I think I might have to find an alternative exercise. Apollo was really confused when I was doing hamstring curls - he tilted his head at me all confused looking, and then Duke got on the other side of me. Dumb dogs :p

Total workout for me..
I walked to the kitchen, twice!! Its a milestone for sick people everywhere. Actually, I'm still sick, but I have to walk two miles today. Watch the news today, because I just might die..

I don't post here conistently but just about every day I do some leg work (lunges, ballet positions, etc.) and some ab work (usually a range of 20 to 80 situps). I do this in my room in the morning before I go to work. :)

Yesterday I learned the hard way that bean burritos 2 hrs before running 4 miles is not a good idea!

Poor wfu :(

I picked up my bike today and biked home from the shop - 12km! It's 14km home-work each way, so I have a bit to work on, but I made it home in one piece and was able to walk down the stairs without being too lightheaded :dizzy: I'm going to be sore tomorrow I think :D

Reach down and tried to touch my toes, 15 times. I'm making progress, I was about a foot away when I did the first reach, but got down to about 9 inches away on the last reach.

That's right, I can't reach my friggin toes dammit.
