1. In Australia, it's not ketchup. It's Tomato Sauce.
2. I was quite dissapointed at Subway yesrterday when they said they had run out.

No I made this thread because I loveeeeeeeeeee ketchup.

I eat it on almost everything. My mom has to buy them in bulk becuase I go through so much of it!

I think they don't have it in fancy restaurants because they think its only for fast food, or people who have no manners and what not. They think they are too good for it, and that if it shows up in their restaurant they will get a bad review. Often my dad had business dealy things and we have to go with him to dinner and stuff. I always bring little ketchup packets in my purse. I'd rather eat the ketchup than the unrecognizeable food we have to choose from ... thank god no meat!!!!

ummm, i thought ketchup had beef blood in it, like in the natural flavorings, sorry to bursts yalls bubbles but i am pretty sure it does but who knows I could be wrong

I just thought it was tomatoes ... hmmm now I need to investigate! How horrible would that be if it did have beef blood in it ... I would have to give up ketchup ... and I don't know how well that would go!

vegan urban legend, heinz says there isn't anything non vegan in their ketchup. ketchup is just tomatoes, vinegar, sugar, spices and salt, I'll bet the natural flavoring is probably just MSG or onion extract or something.

you mean ketchup *isnt* tomato sauce? how is it different? because we dont have it, and when I've heard it being referred to in American tv/movies etc, it's always in places where we would put tomato sauce.

In america tomato sauce is like what you would put on pasta and normally has chunks of tomato in it (like Italian food", ketchup is sweeter and has a bunch of sugar in it and is like a paste, it goes on like fries and burgers, etc.

I actully have a strong dislike for ketchup. In fact, I havn't eaten it for nearly 10 years.
You see, when I was a wee lass of 5, my Grandma ( being Jamaican) made me a 'pizza', which consisted of a large amount of Ketchup with a peice of processed orange cheese on top, on a peice of white bread.

Needless to say, it was rather disgusting. And, of course.. she wouldn't let me waste any of it because of the fact that it had 'been made for me, and now you're expected to finish it!'

That adventure turned me off ketchup for my entire life. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten.

Green ketchup looks like duck poop.

I like regular, red, ketchup though... sometimes I'll order fries just to eat the ketchup (I don't like it plain).

I was once playing with a packet of ketchup in my dad's old van and it burst and ketchup went everywhere. I spet a couple hours trying to get it off the ceiling, windows, chairs, clothes, etc... That wasn't the first time that I had an incident like that either.

Since I am in band, I can eat in the band room, and I do. Its always the same people ... me, Steph ((best friend)), Greg, Justin, and McKeeven. The one day Steph had fries and two ketchup packets. Well, I stole a ketchup packet. And Steph was chasing me trying to get it back ... well it fell on the floor and I stepped on it and it popped! We both got yelled at by Doc and we had to clean it up! We had fun cleaning it up though ... we were laughing the whole time.

Yea I just thought that I would share that little ketchup story with you's.

Yeah I don't like the different colored ketchups. I think they are nasty looking .. and would never eat them. I just like plain old red.
