Ditto to what others have said about feeling good. More energy, better temperament, the whole shabang.
I really enjoy the feeling of accomplishment as well...sticking to a plan can be a bit of a struggle for me.
And don't even get me started on that post workout shower...ahhhhh.

OK, you people are freaks! ( j/k :p ) I've been working out regularly for almost 9 months now (after a brief hiatus), and I rarely enjoy working out. Maybe I need to find something I enjoy?

I love to work out after work. It's a great stress reliever and I have an incredible amount of energy. It's also that part of the day when I have time to myself. I dont have to talk to anyone at the Gym if I dont want to, So for about 45 minutes I can be totaly selfish and think of no one but me. It feelsd greay.

I put on on of my skirts this morning and my honey said he could see a difference in the way it fit. My ass doesn't pull it up as far in the back and my tummy isn't sticking out as much. Yippee..go me! :hamster:

I hate working out. I just like the way I generally feel when I am more physically active.

I don't often feel like exercising, but I feel so much better if I do. Makes me feel accomplished...especially when I start out doubting that I can do X amount of miles on the bike/running and end up completing it :) I prefer outdoor exercise to indoor, I find the fresh air makes me happy too.

ohh i love it. my normal workouts are usually in the gym, cardio and weights. and i swear i could do cardio for 3 hours and still be happy. i wear myself out, it just feels so good to me. it's a great tension reliever.
i also love to jumprope at night, in the dark. it's a form of meditation for me and i love it. i also do yoga and mmm, that too..it just feels so damn good.
of course hiking and paddling too, but i dont really even count that as working out.
i just feel so much better mentally and physically for the rest of the day. the only odd thing is that despite workout out hard, i dont sleep better, i'm actually more antsy at night, like i need to work out again.
i love to make myself sweat and feel the burn. bring it on.

I hate working out at first, when I am starting something I'm not good at. Like I hate running and jumping rope, but I love biking and strength training. My muscles feel tighter and stronger for the rest of the day (though I know they aren't actually stronger yet) and it helps to get rid of my energy. I love the burn, and the satisfaction of pushing out 3 more reps than the last time or squatting 10 more pounds than the day before. It also helps mentally, in the sense that I don't feel like a lazy slob!
But the best part of excercizing is the after-effects, when I notice a month later that I am less out of breath climbing stairs, can suddenly lift a mini-fridge without effort, and look better in a tank top or swim suit. Because I'm a rather sadistic person, it also satisfies me to see people struggling with the same things I've had to struggle with. If I see someone trying in vain to do pushups, I laugh and feel glad I'm not that weak anymore. hahahaha!
