Aromaleigh sells mineral cosmetics and a part of their profits are donated to Heifer International and Animal Rescue Organizations.

I've been reading how good mineral makeup is for your skin. I really want to try it out!

I didn't see this thread when I responded to your post about mineral makeup in the Women's Forum. Anyway, I use Aromaleigh & I absolutely adore them! The products are easy to use, they look great on my skin, they are completely fragrance-free, and I love the colors. I particularly like the matte eyeshadows, as I have never thought frosty shadows look good on me.

Also, the company is easy to deal with. They have always gotten my orders right, and they ship quickly.

I definitely recommend ordering samples before getting full-size products. Sometimes a color that looks fabulous online just doesn't look so good once you try it on. Plus, it's fun to get a package with dozens of samples of pretty colors!

I just ordered samples and challenged them to a duel. My old skin against their products. We can always hope for a miracle.

I'm going order some samples of their eyeshadow today. Do they give you a descent amount?

I'm going to be trying Jane Iredale cosmetics for foundation, cover-up, and powder. Its very expensive, but it supposed to be very good. Link (http://www.janeiredale.com)

I'm still using my powder/foundation samples and I ordered them a while ago (like a long while ago). The samples for eyeshadow are a tad smaller because they come in little ziplocks. If you're ordering foundation, make sure you get it in the little plastic containers-- it lasts much longer because it's harder to spill while you're trying to apply.

That said, I love aromaleigh!

I agree, the eyeshadow samples are very generous! The foundation samples are sold in 2 sizes. I bought the smallest, which are the baggies. It was enough to last me 6-8 uses.

Life2K, what did you order? (I love to talk about makeup!)

I must say after reading this thread, I ordered some samples and I absolutely love this stuff. I am so glad I found it! It looks fantastic and isn't icky and cakey like some foundations are. I also love all the shades the eyeshadows come in. I must have ordered 10 different colors. I will defiitely place my order for a full size foundation at the end of the week.

I got the samples and one base, but I haven't used it yet. Do you have any best methods for application?

i moisturize and then brush it on...working it around with the brush(for the base). Otherwise, I just apply the other stuff like I would any other sort of eyeshadow or blush. I apply lightly though as I am not one for wearing a lot of makeup..

Be sure to let your moisturizer "sink in" before you put on the foundation. Then, just brush on a very light coat. It's better to put on several coats than one great big thick one. It's really not tricky at all.

I adore the Aromaleigh Pure Powder! I don't feel like I'm wearing makeup, and there's absolutely no fragrance to it.

I finally tried it and I am delighted! I look so healthy and like I don't even have makeup on. This stuff is fantastic!
