Hmm I'm sure that I already posted I'm buying a bike tomorrow....whatever :) So yeah...I'm buying a bike tomorrow. Yea for Krista!

I don't own a car, so this is a great way to run my grocery store errands. It's too far to walk and really too close to drive.

Rode the stationary bike for 30 minutes, did upper body weights. I was all excited, my brother didn't take his weights to college with him, so they're mine, hahaha.

TaeBo II: Get Ripped Advanced Workout #2 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005OM51/qid=1094087383/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl74/102-9679195-7238526?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846) - 56 min

Hmm. The listing says runtime is 60 min, but I have two almost hour-long workouts on there.

Today was the first day of cross country for me. Last night I decided I was going to do it.
I only had a 2 mile run, with 10 stairs (=.5 mile)
.5 mile walk up to practice
.5 mile run back from practice.
I shouldn't be bummed with 3.5 miles, but the majority of the team was doing 4+.

50 crunches on my exercise ball (will me more later, but all my homework started calling to me...)

Annabanna: I think I have heard you mention taking your inhalor with you on runs. Where do you keep it?

I have done 45 min Pilates and 35 min rollerblading so far today.

I'm hoping to go to swim club tonight... should be a little short of 2 miles swimming.

2.25 mile run. 1.25 miles of that was all up hill. Ughh. Luckily the last bit was downhill, which I love.
1 mile walking to and from practice.
I'll probably do some crunches later.

walking with the munchkins

Today:
30 mins eliptical/40 mins treadmill, 15 minutes rowing

Today was the usual jiu-jitsu practice again... 3 hrs. Various warm ups down the length of the gym, then 15 various ab exercises each around in a circle, about 21 students... Then we were rolling until the end.

Annabanna: I think I have heard you mention taking your inhalor with you on runs. Where do you keep it?

I usually just hold it in my hand. This works nicely for me because I always feel like I need to be doing something with my hands. I've also tucked in between the elastic part of my shorts and the skin on my waist/hips...it doesn't fall out and I don't find it very uncomfortable. Generally I like to keep it in my hand so it's right there when I need it so that I don't have to fumble with it. :)

This week...

Mon: 7 mile run
Tues: 6.5 mile run
Wednesday: 4 mile run
Thurs: 8 miles total, but it was speedwork so it was 4 miles of combined warmup/cooldown
Fri: 4 mile run
Tomorrow...first meet of the season :surprised I don't think it will be too bad though. The distance seems really short compared to what I've been running the past few weeks!

:hamster: Keep it up, hamsters! :hamster:

Biked to and from school (15 minutes each way), it's a great little workout that I'll be doing almost daily until about December! Hehe, one good thing about school! :D
I also did about 175 crunches, and some stretching.

Cissy, inherited wieghts ay....we'll expect you to make use of those:)

Funk, Great workout!!! heheheh making all us saggy tummy/wannabe tight ab people jealous as usual:D You Go!!!!

IamJen, sorry you're hurting yet, sounds like overall you're feeling better. :bobo:

cyk, great on the jiu-jitsu!!!

ND, I think you may have forgotten we don't use the word 'just' with regards to our workouts. Just a reminder:) it was a great workout!

annabanana & vegensurfer, there are lots of running shorts you can buy with pockets. I have a pair with two lg zipper pockets...so things don't go bouncing out, there is also a velcro pocket in the back...up near the elastic waste. I got them at Target for under 20 bucks. These would work for holding an inhailer, I use them for gel pacs.

Go Hamsters!!!

It's entirely too hot for cardio today :( It's almost 80, and we don't have air conditioning :( But I did clean out my closet, and got my heart beating doing that :p It took a few hours too. Plus I'll do strength training and abs today.
