does anyone else listen to psychobilly/rockabilly, or is it just me? Nekro+mantix, Horrorpops, The Stray Cats, The Cramps, Die Cheerleader Die..? and of course Elvis is awesome. I want to join a roller derby now because of these bands. And get "hella" tattooed on the inside of my lips. :)

My DH is a big Psychobilly fan. Before I got pregnant with my son, we used to go out every weekend, drinking and dancing. We went to the first 5 Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekenders as well. Once I got pregnant, I realized that vintage maternity clothes aren't very comfortable, or practicle....so, I got over it, and decided the music was good enough for me. I get doleed up once in a while, but not on a daily basis like I used to.
You would love my tattoos!! I have mostly Sailor Jerry style (traditional) artwork....one arm is almost sleeved, and I just started working on the other arm.

I envy your sleeve, Frenchie!
I've got 2 decent sized tats and considering a third, but I was never brave enough to get a sleeve. I turn green with envy when I see sleeves on girls!
No genre is more fun - I stuck the Cramps and Horton Heat in the car this morning 'cause of this thread.

I listen to some older rockabilly bands, like the Long Tall Texans, Meteors, Guana Bats, King Kurt, Cramps, Stray Cats, ect. . I love Mike Ness and Socal Distortion.

I've seen the Cramps twice. They are great live, definately something you don't want to miss. They are one of my favorite bands ever but the last few albums have been totally weak.
I've seen The Reverend many times and man they whale! Another one nobody should miss.
Also check out The Supersuckers if you have a chane.
I haven't heard of a lot of the bands you guys posted but once I reformat this hard drive I will be downloading MP3's and checking them out.
