Okay, maybe I just didn't look hard enough, but when I was at Whole Foods yesterday, I couldn't find any Tufutti Cuties. I just wanted to try it, and you'd THINK that Whole Foods would be the place to go. Maybe I just missed them or something. Does anybody know where you can get them?

I know that Wegman's carries them if you have any of them around you

Whole Foods doesn't carry most Tofutti products anymore because they use partially hydrogenated oils. Just an FYI. I've noticed a lot of supermarkets carry their stuff, though. The Wild Oats near me carries their stuff, too.

I'm sorry, I am a huge tofutti fan. I know that partially hydroginated oils are bad for you, but being a vegan, I have cut out so much that I think my body can handle just a bit of bad stuff.
I'm not giving up my cuties. :hungry:

We are trying to cut out hydrogenated oil also, but a lot of tofutti products have them. Do the cuties though? I know the better than cream cheese does.
Some major grocery stores (like Publix here) carry them as well. Also, if a store doesn't carry an item you like, it never hurts to let them know. I like to send a nice letter, noting specific brands and items (like Fantastic Foods) that I would like to see. It works sometimes. It's worth the time.

I was at a Kroger store today that carried the Tofutti Cuties in the "Natural Foods" freezer section.

I thought I checked the box last time I had tofutti cuties. I don't remember seeing partially hydogenated soybean oil. Perhaps, a re-check is in order.
I get mine at a regular grocery store. Its a St. Louis business so I don't think that will help you. However, I used to shop Kroger. They usually had them in the health food freezer section. Oh, they are sooo good! I hope you find some!

the stop&shop next to my house has them, i got 2 packs on sale for 4$ last week ( that's 16 cuties, gonna last me for a while )
i also have 2 whole foods very close to me and another natural food store, but i didn't check them for cuties b/c they probably cost more there.
my local sop&shop happened to be very veg. friendly - they even have ener-G egg replacer and tahini and even annies pizzas.
i live in veggie heaven :p

It has been my experience that Whole Foods sucks for veg specialty foods. They built one in my area and it doesn't have most of my usual buys. Like Vicky said, the local Stop & Shops here carry them, my local HFS chain (Mrs Greens Natural Market) and Trader Joe's usually has them, and for a good price!!

Partially hydrogenated oils don't bother me either, but that's Whole Foods reason for not carrying them. There's almost always Tofutti Sour Supreme and Better Than Cream Cheese in my house. Occasionally I buy the Cuties (I'm hooked on Soy Delicious right now).

To the person looking for the Tofutti Cuties ...I recently purchased a box at the Bloom grocery store. This is the high end grocery store run by Food Lion.

i reckon they might have found them by now.... more than 3 years on.
that said, the OP hasn't posted for 2 years, so maybe they're still out looking, or got trapped in a supermarket freezer rooting about for tofutti cuties.

You stole my joke! :p I think I saw her outside Whole Foods the other day, in a bathrobe, mumbling about Tofutti and her "plan".

I used to eat a lot of these kinds of products but not anymore cause I'm trying to go raw but:
I'm pretty sure the cutties don't have Trans Fats. As for the Sour Cream and Cream Cheese, they make two versions, one with and one without...but the one without is hard to find (to my knowledge).

Am I the only one around here who just doesn't like any Tofutti products?
I think their "Better Than Cream Cheese" product needs to be sued for false advertising over the name. I really wish there was a worthwhile cream cheese substitute out there, since cream cheese is the only dairy product I still buy. I'm just too Jewish to give up bagels with cream cheese.
I tried the Tofutti "ice cream" stuff, and I just wasn't impressed. I'd rather stick with Haagen Dazs sorbet for frozen treats, even though they don't have vegan chocolate. :( The mango and rasberry flavors are great, though.
