Well, unless packing counts as exercise, I have nothing to post. ::sigh:: I'm off to Kansas tomorrow morning!! I promise to walk around a lot, and, if I can fit them in my little carryon, I'm going to bring my running shoes. :) :) :)
Have a great week, hamsters!!!

5 miles running fast today. But I forgot to bring my inhaler with me so the last mile or so was slower. If the rain holds off I'll go for a 12-mile bike ride later and do some weights. :)

Karate last night, and we were supposed to do a muay thai class but the instructor was away (class was taken by senior student) so we slacked off and basically practised handstands, cartwheels etc for an hour. Fun :D

Saturday I played 8 games of volleyball and dove for ~30 min.
Yesterday was a 4 mile run that was supposed to be longer, but my shin started to hurt really badly. So I stopped sooner and rode my bike for 6 miles.
Haven't decided for tonight. It's too cold to swim and I need to give my leg a break.

30 Minute Bike Ride today, other than that, not too much. Plus we got a lot of good groceries and I've been eating way too many snacks and not enough excercising, I'm trying to turn it around though! Have a good week Hamsters!

 sniff…sniff…sniff.
I am so bummed!!! I went out for my 10 miler and pulled my hamstring or a tendon or something. It hurts behind my knee and up my leg a bit. It’s more than moderate or just achy pain…it’s the kind of pain that means stop. This will very likely blow my Oct. marathon. I am so frustrated! This sucks!
Gnarly, I wonder if there is some sort of strength exercise you could do for your (dodgy… hehehe I like that word) knees. O’ and I love your new avatar! Is that a kangaroo or a wallaby?
Mskedi, well, you’ll be back soon right? Knee boarding is like water skiing but instead of skis you kneel on a sort of short or cut off surfboard. I think it’s more fun than skiing…but it’s hard on the knees. I’ll get a pic taken and post it.
IamJen, Great hamstering!
Brandon, rest days are important! And they feel so good!
Flower, great workouts! What caves did you explore? I’m not aware of any nearby…or did you travel a ways?
Hey, I’m looking to buy a kayak…I’d like to find a used one so if you see any for sale could you let me know? I would really appreciate it!
ND, Wow, great week! 8 miles of rollerblading! That’s impressive.
Vegansurfer, Yay! I’m so glad you got to go surfing again! :vebo:
Corri, midnight yoga…hehehehe…that’s great!:)
Catswym, Great job! You’re really doing great!
Cissy, Go Hamster!
Captain, good luck at the half!!!!
Annabanana, I didn’t realize you have asthma, and you do all that running! Wow!
Kat,
Clickman, that’s a great workout! Just make sure you’re fueled up for it :)
Jessikt, let’s find that happy medium.
Chrisy , great workouts!!!
Go Hamsters!!!

 You need another hug. :) That's awful that you're hurting.
We went to Cave of the Mounds, near Madison. It was about 2 hours & 15 minutes to get there from Sheboygan.
I'll definitely keep you in mind if I see any used kayaks. There is a place here that sells used ones, if you're interested. They're the place that we rent from sometimes. It's called Thills Marine and is right on the Sheboygan river.

Thanks guys! I was feeling very defeated today.....but now I feel better. I guess it's time to come up with a new plan :-/
Flower, Thanks I did need hugs:)
Cave of the Mounds is so cool! Did you know that hwy.18 is also the same Blue Mound Rd. that goes all the way through Milwaukee. It's named after the Blue Mounds....(large hills and state park out that way) :)
Jessikt, I'll get better, thanks! I wish it would be soon enough!
Cissy, thanks much! The hugs are much appreciated!!!
All you Hamsters are great!!!!

Ok, I've decided to try this. It took my step-brother to come down from Virginia for me to get to the the gym again... I'm hoping I will keep it up. So yesterday was:
10 minutes on the treadmill, Light weights doing chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders, the leg thing that you open and close, and abs.
Today:  Nothing.

I've been a lazy hamster, doing workouts off the TV for the past few dasy. My right shin feels so hollow, I'm scared of doing serious damage right before going down to school.
Slynny-:hug: I agree with Jessi, there's a lot of time until October. Could you continue training by aqua running, after a few days/weeks rest of course? :) It's terrible that you're injured though, I hope you are back and as good as new soon!
