Light day for me also, I did quite a bit of walking around downtown and climbed a steep hill in a park today, the hill did make me work up a sweat so I think that counts! :p

EDIT: Oooh my 100th post/first green square! :D

Thanks for all the support everyone! :lovesign: I’m feeling lots better and have just been taking it easy…rest, ice, compression seem to be doing the trick, but I’m going buggy not being able to run. Yesterday I decided to workout a bit so I did some crunches and a few other floor exercises, took the dog for a walk, and went for a bike ride with my kids. I’ll probably do something similar today. I wish I could go swimming but it’s to cold…only in WI would it be 60 degrees in the middle of summer. Figures….perfect running weather.

cyk, welcome to the Hamsters! :hamster:

Brownie, sorry to hear that, hope your toe gets better soon  Sounds like you should check with your doctor about the absorption problem and possible lack of nutrition.

Go Hamsters!!!! :vebo: :nana:

I've been forgetting to post in here. Everyday this week I have taken at least one 25 minute bike ride. Half with 50 pounds of kid in the carrier in the back and the other half with 100 pounds of kid! :D

Glad you are feeling better Slynny! :hamster:

Today I did some skipping- as I thought I do tae kwon do, on mondays and wednesday but nothing for the rest of the week. Though my weekend job tends to be pretty much like a work out at times. A skipping rope sounded cheap and fun. Slightly less effort than going for a run.

I tried it indoors and outdoors. Outdoors it kept getting caught on the grass. Indoors it got caught on all sorts of things. I'm outta practice on the whole skipping thing. Though it was pretty fun. Like being 8 years old again!

Keep it up guys! :hamster:

Yesterday I biked to the Gym (20 minutes), went on the Elliptical MAchine for 20 minutes, and biked back (20 minutes).

Nothing planned for today except for some walking around the mall. :D

Wow, you can do 100 push ups? Impressive.

As for me, this has been an off week for me. I've been putting all my time (literally, eating and sleeping have been a 2nd priority for me since Wednesday) into moving. It is definitely exercise, and strenuous...but I have no real way to measure the exercise I've gotten. I'll just say this:

Moved 95% of my worldly possesions inside of 3 days between Weds. and Saturday.
Sunday: Rest! Going to take a mental and physical health day....and I miss my bike. Need to take her out and let her see the town again. :D

Next week, back on target!
