This is a Canadian, perhaps, quebec chain of vegetarian restaurants, they are everywhere in montreal and they make ready to eat/serve and microwave meals that can be found in supermarkets.

I am in love with their frozen meals for when i just cant be bothered to cook as the prices are reasonable and they taste fantastic and most if not all are Vegan.

however and this is a BIG however. the restaurant is just totally unreasonable when it comes to cost. I was there today and this is no joke I paid
5.33$CAD for a muffin and a small bowl of mellon!!!!
I paid a dollar more earlier in the day for my lunch which had included a salad a sandwich and a desert!!!!

The food in the restaurant also tends to be on the oily side, even my cheese, fries, and chocolote loving veg*n friend refuses to go there because of it. of course there is some fantastic dishes and that is what attracts me as well as the fact that finding a veg restaurant, let alone a chain can be difficult. I just wish that it was more consumer friendly in terms of the pocket book. :worried:

I've heard the exact same thing about that chain. I've heard that the frozen meals are wonderful, but the restaurant is not that great. Here in Nova Scotia, we don't have any of the restaurants, but my Superstore carries some of the frozen entrees. I've been meaning to try them, but I rarely buy prepackaged meals.

Yeah, we tried the restaurant versions at the Veggie Foodfest a few years back and it was absolutely not worth the money. But we fell in love with the frozen pie dishes.
