View Full Version : Goodbye Badger

My sweet Rat Boy Badger had to be helped across to the Bridge on Tuesday night. He was an old man, over 2.5 years, and wasn't coping with life any more.
He was the last of his group of brothers, and I'll miss him horribly. But I know he had a good life with me, and I'm happy to think that he's back partying with his brothers, who he missed very much.
I still have Fabio, and later in the month we've got 3 new baby boys coming to keep him company, so that's something positive to look forward to.
Rest in peace and have fun Wee B.

Oh, I'm so sorry.
I know how hard it can be to lose one of your little friends- my rat Matilda died a few months back and I still dream about her to this day. Last night I had a dream that she came back to visit me and meet my two new adopted rat girls, Iris and Violet.
Rats are such great little animals

Sorry to hear that, Jessica. I like the way you describe it, tho. "helped across to the Bridge." That's awesome. :D

Thanks guys. It might sound silly but I spoke to an 'animal communicator' a few weeks previously. She knew nothing about Badger's brother, Roger, who had passed away a few months before. But she picked up on Roger who had apparently 'dropped in to say hello' - she described him to a tee, and also described the relationship he had with Badger. She said that Badger missed Roger very much (which I already knew).
I was very sceptical before speaking to this woman, but now I'm convinced that Roger was waiting for Badger, and that's made the whole process a million times easier.
