Yesterday I noticed my local health food store had a new brand of vegan milk. It's called Tiger White and is made from the sedge plant. It had hit the store last wednesday so the shop assistant wasn't sure how it was. It was a little more pricey than I would normally pay- but I thought I would give it a go.
This morning I had it in my coffee. It didn't mix too well with the coffee and seperated to the top. (worst than soy milk does.) It had a weird taste too it- that I can hardly describe. Not deeply unpleasent- but not how milk would normally taste. It was fairly creamy. I wouldn't go out of my way to have it in coffee.
I will try it plain later and give more details if anyone is interested. Has anyone else tried it. I found it in Holland and Barret (UK)
