anyone know of any good vegan dandruff shampoos? i need some badly. i have "cradle cap" which is where one gets dandruff--that's kinda normal--and then because of all of my wonderful, natural oil production, it gets stuck to the scalp and forms a nice, golden itchy layer of oil and skin and whatever--totally yuck.
so, i'm looking for a good vegan dandruff shampoo--and some of you moms may know of some good ones because babies sometimes get this condition too.
thanks for your help!

Kiss My Face's Sahaira shampoo is supposed to work for dandruff. I have some, but haven't tried it yet because I'm finishing some other shampoo first. Anything with tea tree oil is supposed to be good for dandruff, too.
Here's a dandruff treatment from How It All Vegan:
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp flax seed oil or olive oil
Combine the vinegar, water, and oil in a clean, dry container. Shut tightly and shake until combined. Massage onto scalp and leave in for 15-20 minutes. Wash out.

I have really good luck with Aubrey Organics' Calaguala Fern scalp treatment shampoo. I think they still have my testimonial on their website. :)
ETA: Yup. Here's a link. (http://www.aubrey-organics.com/product1.cfm?product_id=134&cat=6&subcat=20)

Warm a half a cup of Apple Cider Vinegar in the microwave. Wet your hair in the shower and pour the vinegar over your scalp. Massage. Shampoo and carry on with your normal hair routine. Do this every day until you see improvement. Then cut back to a couple times a week for maintenance. No need to buy fancy shampoo's. Your PH needs adjusted that's all.

thanks for the cider ideas. i'm definately going to try that first. i take ACV a couple of times a week in a tea-mixture for good digestive health, but i just didn't know what to do with my head. :)

Check out the hair care section on www.arbonne.com. If you want to try it, let me know. I can get it for you at a discount (see my sig line). The Anti-Flake shampoo is wonderful, and so is the Thermal Fusion Hair & Scalp treatment. :)

I've gotten vinegar in my eyes before  ....be careful! It seems to slip in through closed lids a lot easier than shampoo does. Vinegar did help me, though I use my Aubrey shampoo too as it works so well for me.
