Okay, here's the thing.
I've been sick for the past three days. The first day I had a terrible sore throat, and a slight cold. The next day I developed a fever and a terrible migrane, and today I must have gotten the fever back. Its cool as all heck in here and Im sweating harder than R Kelly at a playground...plus my stomach hurts.
Do any of y'all have good remedies or any advice for colds? (if that's what I have) I've been taken cold meds and throat drops the whole time and all they're doing is making me sick to the stomach.

Sleep. Lots of it. :)
Healthy food: fruits, vegetables in abundance.
Vitamin C

Thanks, Arti. I've been trying to sleep, but these meds....instead of making me drowsy, they've been keeping me up. Its almost 9 am here and I haven't slept since 3 pm yesterday. I'll have my aunt bring me some Amy's soup and a few oranges on her way home.

All I can reccomend is what the others have said, and lots of fluids.

Besides a stomach ache, are you having any other digestive track distress? Don't take decongestants if you want to sleep unless they are paired with a strong antihistimine. If you want a dry nose and a sleepy head, Benedryl or its generic will put most people in dreamland PDQ.

I slept for a couple of hours, and about to go back in a few. Besides my stomach hurting, there's really no other pain. Im still sneezing, coughing a bit and still have a bit of a fever.

*Vicks Vapo Rub or Mentholatum
*eucalyptus essential oil
*tiger balm
*Carmex for when your nose gets super irritated from blowing it so much (rub it on the irritated parts)
*warm blankets
*fluffy pillows
*ginger tea
*vegetable soup or broth
*plenty of water or clear juice

Yeah, your temp shouldn't go up. Good luck! If you're lucky, you'll get a gravol shot.

Update: The doc says I have summer flu, and I should expect to be sick a few more days. He gave me some meds, said I was dehydrated, gave me a list of things to do and sent me on my way.

Well, honey, lemon juice and hot water...But if you're vegan, I dunno...Maybe some lemon and hot sugar water?

At least 7 hours of sleep each night should help. And stay away from drugs...of course, eat balanced meals and drink plenty of fluids. That should help.

Sorry you're not feeling well! I always find carbonated drinks like ginger-ale and sprite help my stomach when I'm sick.

The first week of school one of my kids brought that bug home. Everyone here had it. We were all miserable for a few days. I swear that every time I get sick with anything I end up with a sinus infection. So, still fighting that off in the great (haha) air quality of the metroplex.
I hope you feel better really soon.
This is what I say to my kids when they are sick. Drink lots of water. Drink lots of water. Drink lots of water. Drink lots of water. Drink lots of water. Drink lots of water.
They don't listen to me, but you should. :)
