This might be a little harsh since most songs use some sort of formula, so it's not that weird for some songs to match up, but it still made me laugh.

I've noticed that, but I kinda liked the first song (how you remind me) so I didn't really mind listening to it on the radio again!

Omg.. that song.. I remember when I was living in America they played it OVER AND OVER again on the radio. I think the lyrics will now be forever engraved in my memory. :brood:

Well, there's some difference, of course. For example, I liked the chorus melody of the left speaker more than the chorus melody of the right speaker. But yes, the whole pattern and style are very similar.

ugh, i loooooathe Nickelback. There's a whole legion of sh*tty bands whose lead singers have similiar, eddie vedder-esque voices and should be torched. And wow, that's crazy how in synch these two songs are. They always sounded ridiculously similar to me, but...*sigh* I don't know. I hate sh*t music.

it sounded like they edited them quite a bit to make them match. although its pretty hillarious.

I never noticed that. I don't love them, but I do love the Figured You Out song. Mostly for the lyrics though.

Sounds like the state of overall popular music, it's lame and derivative. Might as well watch shampoo, beer and car commercials (...oops, Air does that great "Starship....." song for Nissan though ) since that is where these pop songs will end up.

lol that was awesome. I can't stand so many of the bland bands that are on the radio today, especially on rock stations, I feel like they've totally just turned into pop.

my bf has this on cd, it's funny. also i saw a comedy duo from i think New Zealand do this with 2 Britney Spears songs with the same results. hilarious stuff.
and for the record the lead singer of Nickelback looks like a Muppet.

Bah.. Damn repetitive crap. Would it hurt a band to have a song without the exact same keys, progressions, patterns, etc.?
Like Creed. When they were together (muahaha) the most impressive thing they ever did wasn't impressive at all by a musician's standards. And, their music consisted of one really long, crappy song.
I never listen to radio. And I avoid it at all costs because of terrible, terrible music like the bands mentioned and more.

On a local radio station, Dave Grohl imitated Stapp singing Arms Wide Open. I almost peed myself on the way to work.
