I'm going home....

So I've been an exchange student in Taiwan for the past 11 months and in 6 days I'm going back home. I don't want to go. I've changed a lot in Taiwan (inlcuding becoming vegan) and now I feel so sad that I have to say goodbye to my life here and return to everything I once knew. :cry: I'm sad. I miss my family in America, but now I have to say goodbye to my family and friends in Taiwan and I just don't want to. :no: Seems like my world is crumbling and I just feel so sad. Need some love.

awww :hug: i know it's hard to part. But you have to look on the bright side: seeing your family again, being in your home country. There are pros and cons to everything. Just know that you can keep in touch and go back to visit at another time if you really want to. goodbye doesn't mean forever.

i completely understand after returning to aus from hk it was a horible experience

as you can probably remember from my post a month or so ago

i'll be honest with you- it is had especially in the beginning

although it will probably be exciting at first seeeing everyone-showing photos etc but once that dies down it very uncomfortable

i'm slowly starting to feel more comfortable here

can you go back? you have family in taiwan

i'm considering going back to hk

btw quite alot of my local friends in hk agree that taiwan has a great music-arts scene did u find that?

Awwwh Chels. I can't say I understand what you are going through but I'm sorry :(

I hope that once you're home, everything will be fine again, and you can still keep in touch with your New friends from Taiwan

:) Thanks for the advice and the website. I've got about 5 1/2 days left and I'm doing alright, at least I figure it could be worse. I'm doing my best to get my packing and stuff done now so the night before I leave I won't be quite so stressed out. Ahh.. *breathe in, breathe out* I can do this.
