My first question is this: Does anyone here have different orgasms in that they stem from a different spot?
I read about this in a magazine, and it was explaining how you can tell and how certain pressure in certain areas will cause the different sensations. There were four spots, I believe. I honestly don't give mine that much thought to figure out where they're coming from, but I'm wondering if anyone else does, and what is the most common one.

Absolutely. In fact, it's very important for women to learn to do it themselves. :)

Yes. I don't think I can specify the exact 'spots' though! but clitoral orgasms are definately different than orgasms from penetrative sex for me.

Yep, self help can be a wonderful thing!
Also when I was really young, about 11 and before I knew anything much about sex I had an orgasm while swimming and accidentally being stimulated by something. Weird! I didn't know exactly what it was at the time but I liked it and also instinctively knew it wasn't something to stand up and shout out to the relatives standing nearby!

I bet it was those things that blow the filtered water out and make the bubbles.

Yeah, I know, Greeny, but I had an experience like that myself. Not on purpose. LOL Beats a guy you're not in love with.

I've never had an orgasm during intercourse (only clitoral), but I just finished reading this (http://www.goodvibes.com/cgi-bin/sgin0102.exe?FNM=08&T1=6+3+SC+BE35&UID=2004071117424434&UREQA=5&UREQB=4&UREQC=3&TRAN85=N). I'll be continuing my research. ;)

While we're on masturbation...
What methods of self-pleasuring seem to be the most effective/satisfying for you? I'm young and I have too much pent-up sexual tension and am in need of release! I have several methods that work for me, but I'm always open to suggestions to shake things up a little. :)

I used to have them all the time on top. They were clitoral but they came from penetration if that makes sense. Something has changed though. Not sure what.
For masturbation I find that some well chosen reading material helps things along.

Nothing wrong with movies. Although I find that most of them are aimed at men. And therefore sometimes kind of off-putting. Or laughable. Also most of the men are ugly.

Reminds me of when I was on my brother's computer - dear God, some of that stuff is funny!

 I used to think Ron Jeremy was the ugliest mofo alive (still do actually), but I've since seen him on TV in some non-porn roles, and I have to say he seems like a pretty cool guy. He's kind of cute in a horrible sort of way.

Yeah, I've never been a huge fan of video porn. I prefer text based stories then use my own images.

hehe. i like how this has turned into a porn discussion rather than an orgasm discussion. they don't tend to market porn toward women because we're not as visually stimulated as men. we prefer to have our other senses used, including a lovely sense i call the BRAIN. but i digress.
as for the "different spots" i can say that i know the difference between a clitoral orgasm and a g-spot orgasm, and after having one of the latter the former pale in comparison. so i firmly believe that every woman needs to find her g-spot. (it's on the front wall and kinda spongey in texture) because if she doesn't find it, there's no way some creature with a y-chromosome is going to be able to locate it.
also certain positions, like "doggie style" (i hate that term!) reach it better.

I agree about the movies, so one time I ordered some Candida Royale ones for me and hubbie because they were supposed to be aimed at women...romance and stuff.. AHhhhhhhhhhhh!!! They were ridiculous! A mixture of disco and ugly people. Who wants to see ugly people having sex?
