My mind certainly has to wander, but he doesn't have to have a face. :)

This thread definitely disspells the myth then men are hornier than women. I have always thought it was equal anyway.

I have the sex drive of a 16 y/o boy

I think I'm more into visuals and the actual sensations, rather than imagination or mind trips. I've heard that this is typically what men prefer (visuals, et al), and women prefer more of a mental thing. Maybe I'm mistaken?

Yes. In general visual is supposed to be the male domain. Actually I've also heard that the visual indicates a higher than average female sex drive.

I've always wanted to get some erotic stories or novels. Does anyone else have any suggestions of good ones to get?

A. N. Roquelare. I have her Beauty series. Just as a warning though, it's very much BDSM stuff.

I think that I would prefer a collection of erotic stories.

msbunnicula, Black Lace publishes collections of short stories every year or so, called Wicked Words. I love them.

They tend to push the boundaries a bit more in shorts than they do in the full length novels. Not that they're necessarily more explicit, but the subjects can be more controversial. You don't have as much time to build-up sexual tension in a short, so the climax scenes have got to be more punchy. ;)

Yep, Rebel Girl, that's the third one in the series.

Most bookstores will carry collections of short stories. The Best Women's Erotica series is usually pretty good. I also like Anais Nin.

Who here has to think about a sexy guy to have an orgasm (meaning not the guy you're with) or has to have their mind wander a bit to achieve that peak?

There are times when I'm very much into it with my partner and we're intensely connected. Other times, my mind is wandering all over the place. Sometimes life creeps in and I find myself thinking about stuff like grocery lists and my bank balance. I'll use a fantasy to pull myself back into a sexual mind-set, so I can actually enjoy myself. :)

Good Vibrations has several collections of short stories that are really nice, I'll have to look up the titles when I'm not at work. ;)

They also have an archive of erotic stories from their online magazine on their website. They're a pretty diverse mix as far as sexual preferences, so maybe not for everybody.

literotica.com has reader submitted stories. some of them can be pretty out there though. they're categorized so that helps some.

Check out 'Stories to make you blush'. They are actually quite funny to read as well but it gets me in the mood.

I'll have to double check the title when I get home. Sorry, I don't bring my erotic stories to school with me!!!

i'm a creative writing major, so i like to write my own stories. it's a painless way to practice style (ok, a downright enjoyable way) plus i can make the characters do WHATEVER i want! muahahaha!

oh and then i let my boy read them. and then we act them out.

OK I never talk about this stuff but, I need to. I want an orgasm. My husband and I have worked on it. I get a little tingle but, I stop myself. I feel like I have to pee I do not let myself go further. I just feel really silly trying to masturbate also. What is the feeling like? How can I get comfortable enough to get there?

Me too! Except my major isn't creative writing, but I've been writing short stories and poems since I was a kid and lately I've been writing some rather err..naughty stories, lol. Sometimes I prefer writing to reading them cuz I can put my personal fantasies onto paper..and let special people read them, heh.

I've written a lot of erotica, but I don't let too many people read it, because I'm shy about my writing ability. :o Also, because I don't want people to know what a freak I am. hehe

I feel like a dork in here. Oh well! I can't get off masturbating either. And, I think I am missing my clitoris. I'm dead serious! Is that possible??
