i was a girl scout for a long time, and the lemon sandwich cookies (they've changed names a couple of times) were always my favorite gs cookies. i've missed them for years, but now i have found these. they don't claim to be vegan anywhere, which is a little weird since wild oats labels some vegan stuff, but it probably has to do with the "processed on equipment that . . ." statement, which doesn't bother me.

anyway, they're way yummy. no hydrogenated oil, either! :)

edit: hrm, after looking at the package more, i noticed the kosher symbol thing says "dairy." that's just from the equipment that processes milk, right? i've read the ingredients a billion times and they looked fine.

Yes, if you do not see any non-vegan ingredients, it just means that the product was uesd on equipment that also produces dairy products. Those cookies sound yummy. How much were they?

Not bad. I tried the chocolate Trader Joes "JoeJoe's" cookies (similiar to Oreos, but vegan) and they were reasonably priced as well. Only problem with buying cookies is that I eat the whole box in like 2 days. I'll have to try the Wild Oats cookies.

I've never had the lemon kind before but the vanilla and the half vanilla half chocolate rock. Are the lemon variety extremely lemony?

Ha! I do the same thing. My boy and I can polish off a package of Newman O's in 2 days. I have to make him hide them from me. Hehe
