hmmm... breasts are fatty tissue. and while they are partially dependent on your weight, they are also genetically determined. i wear a d, but that's because i'm a big girl. when i'm thinner i wear about a c or so. buy some cute push up bras??? :)

I don't think you would have lost your breast size permanently, though I guess I'm not totally sure about the formative years during which you dealt with your ED. How old are you now? You may still have a lot of growing to do. Are you at a healthy weight now?

Yep, Im with you. Breasts are fatty tissue, and milk glands (which don't really change in size). So if you were to go back to the same weight you were previously then they would probably return, as well. Count yourself lucky too, if they are small then at least you'll stay perky :)

I've dealth with EDs as well, and have little breasts (then again, I didn't have much to start with :p) Like it's been said, breasts are fatty tissues. Plus, when women gain weight, they tend to gain first through the hips and thighs, and last through the upper body (IE, breasts). I don't really know what to tell you - there's not too much you can do. I buy padded bras :p

I'm with those who say that smaller breasts are better anyway. I have a large chest and it gets in the way all the time. :(

Yep, me too. It makes buying shirts a huge pain in the arse.

I've told this story before, but you're new, so you can hear it :p

My mom had very large breasts. FFs or something like that. She had a reduction and never wanted her daughter (me) to have to go through that. I told her she wished too hard

lol indeed

it's strange, all females in my family have desent breasts, i'm the only flat one, but it doesn't bother me that much

Yeah, it does make buying shirts difficult. And it doesn't help that I'm kinda slim (I wear a size 4). So yeah, I can still remember my friend shaking her head in amazement and asking, "I don't understand how you can be so skinny with big boobs." :p

34 d, go figure.

So, you can still grow even if you're slim (not sure what the effects of formerly having an ed has on it though).

Yep, 36D here along with the joys of the back pain that accompanies it.

I have a friend who is small-chested and she used to rub it in all the time that she could wear those cute little tanks and sundresses in the summer with no bra, and I couldn't.

I agree with all of them. I don't buy padded bra's though, because I like being flat chested. I lost most of my breasts due to eating disorders also.

big breasts are a pain in the a**. Im in a DDD and my insurance is in no shape form or fashion willing to even consider paying for a reduction. They've been this size since I was a teenager, and even though Im losing weight in other places, these aren't going anywhere.

Wow I always thought I was one of the very few who was flat-chested. I always hated it, but am coming to terms. Padded bras help. :p Most of the time I can't fit into a TEEN size A. Bleh...

Yeah. I'm 15 and am, like, yeah a double A I guess. My Mom's really small too so I don't have much hope of them getting bigger. Do you know if this affects the ability to breastfeed at all?

I don't think that small breasted women have trouble breastfeeding. Usually, during pregnancy and breastfeeding afterwards, your breast become significantly larger. Look at Gweneth Paltrow for example. She was quite small before her pregnancy and now she looks to be a size C or so.

I agree 100% It's also extremely difficult to buy a 2piece. I need small for the bottom and extra large for the top.

I can definitely relate! Last weekend I tried on this great pink bikini, which looked awesome, but I needed a large for the top and a small for the bottom, and they only had large :grr:

It can be quite annoying, but to be honest, I don't mind that much

If it makes you feel better, my breasts are bigger than they've ever been, and I only wear AA :p Eh, could be worse. I won't have to worry about saggy boobies :)

Dear, you're 14. Your breasts are far from developing. Relax, eat, and don't fret.

How old are you, raventulip? If you're not out of your teens, you could still be up for some growth. Like others said, gaining weight will change them, as will having children, but you may not be up for either of those things.

Having mid-sized boobs(small B) always makes it hard for me to buy shirts... only because my shoulders are on the broad side and I need long arms (I'm 5'9"). I end up getting larges and XLs, but they're always too big in the boobular area. But then I'm only 19, and in all likelihood they'll change later on.

yeahhhhh question! sorry to be off-topic but this thread reminded me: at what age are girls/women usually done with puberty?

Uhm around 17/18. Thats a guess.

I just went to taekwonda- I'm around a C. I wore a bra that was really supportive, though not sports bra. First thing we had to do was run around the room. With every step I made my bra made a funny "twurp" noise. It was very embarassing. twurp twurp twurp. I tried to make it look like it was my feet making the noise. Boobs- don't you just love em!

17-18 things start to slow down, 19-21 before they are finished.
