Post Whores Anonymous is a support group for those obsessed with upping their post counts (in threads such as Slut For Power) in an effort to hastily earn more green dots/boxes than is practically possible. This is a thread for those trying to wean themselves off of SFP or those who are merely embarassed by their green boxes (or lack thereof) under their avatar and need a safe, friendly, unjudgmental place to vent and seek help.

Time to come out of the slut closet, kids... ;)

Hi, my name is Kristen and I am a post whore. I realized I made the transition from post-slut to post-whore when I started posting to earn more green dots and not just for fun. It's been about 2 minutes since my last post.

I'm Dom..and I'm a post whore. :cry: It all started back in January when I was a member of a forum and never posted. My friends had always warned me about the dangers of post whoring, and I never thought it could happen to me. I met someone who told me to post. Soon it became once a week. Then once a day. Then several times a day. I knew I was at an all time low when I was found at 5 am sitting in the bottom of a closet with a laptop shivering.

i was a post whore. i gave up sfp cold tofurky. oh, i still post now and then, but only socially or after meals. and first thing in the morning. and if i've had a rough day. and basically on any days that end in 'y'.
