ah well i do have some figurines around the apartment, mostly dragons, and lots of funky candle holders, couple of windchimes and potpourri simmer pots, stuff like that. and a huge dark red frosted glass vase that my mom got me as a housewarming gift. this thing is 2 feet high and gorgeous. she bought it downtown toronto and loved it so much she got herself the same one a few weeks later, and went to great lengths to get it from toronto to her house up north. no flowers in mine at the moment, i will soon fix it up with some nice dried ones.
also have my bamboo arrangement above the tv. with a glass cylinder vase with 5 bamboo stalks and filled with green stones, and two smaller vases filled with purple stones, one on either side. looks funky and zen and stuff, i love it

LF - I haven't trimmed mine yet. I'm actually not looking forward to having to do it either. First, my mom is going to have to explain to me how to do it for the 1100th time and second it just seems kind of, well, mean. I don't think that's the right word for it. I just like letting it grow but it's getting really tall and it's almost touching the ceiling (I have it sitting on my stereo) so something will have to be done soon. Maybe a larger vase that can sit on the floor.
