And also that thing that tells you you've used way too many smilies in your post- so tough. Where does it say how many you can use ?

umm ewwww it sounds so nasty when you call it VD, at least use a hyphen or something.
we don't seem to be in the V-day mood around here, and it's also our anniversary *sigh* we've spent the last hour argueing over which one of us is going to call and make reservations for dinner, i think the guy should do it. but the fact that he refuses kinda makes it look like he doesn't want to go at all, know what i mean?
guys are so frustrating

me thinks he might be tired of having to make the reservations all the time and why is it his job to do it? I mean this is like 2002 not the 1950s. equal rights mean equal responsibilities. Of course, i would probably have made reservations if i was going some place that needed reservations but then again i probably wouldnt be going someplace that needed reservations on Valentines Day, i would do something special for my beloved. Like take her on a nice nature walk and set up a picnic with candle light overlooking the beautiful beaches and ocean or maybe i wouldnt do anything special at all and just love her as much as i do the rest of the year cause really i dont need Hallmark telling me when i need to show my love, cause i do it fairly regularly otherwise, well when i have someone to share it with.

it's a little cold here for a picnic.
actually he never makes reservations. he asks where i want to go, or we decide in the car on the way, and then end up sitting in the lobby for an hour wait along with all the other people who didn't call ahead. i understand we can't expect the guys to do everything anymore, but i'd appreciate it if he did SOMETHING lol, he doesn't, never has been into that stuff. things are getting stale, some effort would be nice

well, he SHOULD do something, and put forth effort to do something special, more special than waiting for an hour to get a table.
Yeah i guess it may be too cold up there for a picnic.
hmm if i was in a cold place and wanted to do something special for my girl, i think i may set up a candle lite dinner at home. If i gots a fireplace i would set up the dinner(picnic style) in front of it, turn down the lights, put on some nice soft romantic music, and have a good old fashion conversation with my beloved. You know ask her about her day and such, maybe fantasy plan(unless your rich) a dream vacation somewhere and describe all the things you would like to do. maybe end the night sitting infront of the fire, letting the dishes rot in the sink for tomorrow and uhmm do what people like to do. You know cuddle and kiss and take eachothers clothes off and explore eachothers bodies and what not. Kiss eachother from head to toe, massage eachother, whisper sweet nothings or somethings into eachothers ears. then fall asleep right there infront of the fireplace in eachothers arms. Then wake up in the morning with your back all aching from sleeping on the floor and tell your love how much you love them and think they are the most beautiful person in the world(assuming you actually feel this way, dont want to lie).
but thats just me, im cheap and dont like to wait in line for an hour anymore. ;)
