Björk is incredible. She has a new album coming out in August/September. No instruments whatsoever. It'll be interesting......

Genius is a word that fits her without being superlative.

Ms. Guðmundsdóttir will be putting another one out right after that. Yeah! Rather than release an album, then tour, she decided to release an album, then release another. I'm not sure of the time gap between the two, but hell, two Björk albums within several months time is cause for pissing your pants in excitement!

I don't listen to much Bjork, but I really loved her Vespertine album.

You must read Pitchfork.
The new album Medulla should be out shortly. Not sure the date though.

I have to add that Gling Glo remains my favourite album.

You can't talk music without there being a few assholes.

What does the title "Homogenic" mean anyway? I looked up a definition, but it was too scientific for me. lol

...says Björk, who confesses that she didn't know this was a word not found in the Oxford English Dictionary.
"Don't blame me, I'm just an idiot foreigner."

As an idiot foreigner, I'd guess that she probably meant 'homogenous'. But that's just a wild guess.
Anyway, it's a great album, and I'm really looking forward to the next ones.

Ah yes, anything involving Björk is brilliant. I have all her solo albums except Debut (oddly enough), and I've been listening to them constantly all summer.

Big Bjork fan right here!
Been a fan since The Sugarcubes days.......have all the solo CD's 'cept Vespertine [my niece lifted it from my collection] and groove on the Hyperballad single for hours on end.
