pill stopping?

I will have to go off the pill for about a month or so because of my husbands change in jobs. I am only getting one packet then I will have to wait for a pap to get anymore. I have been on some sort of birth control since I was 14. We will use other precautions during that time. I am just worried it will whack my body out. I get severe cramps heavy bleeding and I think I have PMDD (It runs in my family). I usually do the continual 4 packets then a placebo week. This may be a very bad idea but, can I stretch a pack out by taking it every other day and using other precautions also? Did anyone have to do this before and did it mess you up? Thank you. I am just so scared it will mess my body up.

i have done it , do you live in america do they cost money- i am so lucky to live in england cos they are free!
do not take every other day simply use up the pack and when your out your out unfortuantly you willave to put up with the pain for a while :hug:

Increase your intake of soy and soy products. That will somewhat ease your suffering.

I call my dr's office after I've made the pap appointment and see if they can give just one refill. If you do not have insurance, they are like $30 a pack, depending on brand generic or not. If it is not generic, see if there is one available for what you take. I figure the cost of condoms and spermicides is almost as much.

I made an apointment and got 1 pack till the apointment. The incurence would not have been there in time for the aopintment so I had to cancle it.
