Am i the only woman on Earth who doesn't have an orgasm every time I have sex? It seems like everyone I know is always saying that they do. Am I a freak or are they lying?

Nope I don't.

Used to, but now the frequency of sex has been reduced due to my job, and it doesn't happen as often anymore.

But that doesn't mean they don't happen other ways ;)

I don't. I don't know who you're talking to, but many women have trouble orgasming. Unless you hardly ever do, or it's really bothering you that you don't every time, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not abnormal or anything. If it does bother you, why not talk to your partner about it and try some different things?

I usually have what I call 'peaks' but I can't say I always have orgasms. Sometimes my husband and I choose a position that I knew will bring him a lot pleasure. I always enjoy the intimacy of intercourse. There are just some days my body just isn't as responsive.
From the research I've read most women don' reach orgasm everytime. Furthermore, most women don't reach orgasm from intercourse alone; they need additional clitoral stimulation or oral stimulation.
Don't make orgasm the goal of intercourse, intimacy should be the goal of intercourse.
That said, picking up some good sex manuals and trying something new could be fun :)

I don't know anyone who has orgasms from just penetrative sex alone.

Here are some recommended books:

I almost always "help myself out" during sex
If I am on top I can usually control the position enough that I can get off without having to touch myself, but any other position and I usually need to.
On a few occasions I have realized half way through that it just wasn't going to happen. I could still enjoy what was going on though :D :D

Hey don't feel bad. I have orgasms...never. It's not unusual for women to have troubles with it. I saw a survey once saying that the majority of women never orgasm at all.

Don't worry, I'm not laughing. Women are distracted sometimes or they don't get enough foreplay. Just concentrate on the itimacy or fun of sex. It will come.(no pun attended!) lol. Sex isn't always about an orgasm. Not everyone is lying because some really do everytime, but definately not all. Don't worry about others, just concentrate on yourself & sex with your partner. Everyone is different.

I think some women may lie about it. Kind of like the boy's locker room type lie.

Like Miss Meg.........

Honestly, most of us seem to grow up thinking that there's something wrong with us if we don't have an orgasm through penetrative sex, but ask around amongst your friends and I bet the majority will agree that it's never (or rarely) happened to them either. Once you know you're 'normal' it's much easier to relax and have fun figuring out exactly how you CAN get one! I've found that Miss Meg's method is usually very appreciated by the fellas too!

Intercourse alone isn't enough to do it for me, but i do have an orgasm just about every time through alternate, non penatration centered means, over the course of the nakie time. I think its just a matter of expressing what you want/need, and i've yet to meet a guy who didn't enjoy getting a girl off, a little extra effort pre/post-intercourse or not.

No, hehe, you're definitely not the only one. I have to help myself too. One time I did date a guy who tended to press up the right way and I did manage to have orgasms with him.

Uh, i can only orgasm thru intercourse. I've discussed this with many of my friends and so far, i can't find anyone else who agrees with me....i guess everyone is different. The frustrating part, is that if i'm not in a relationship or dating then it's no big 'O' for me. I've never been able to achieve this myself. Any thoughts?

My thought for you sky is to go to www.goodvibes.com and check out some of their penetration toys, especially those designed to stimulate the G-spot. :D

i think i posted this in the other thread too. you all should try a clitoral sensitizing gel. ive only tried one brand and im not experimenting with anything else because ive found it to be wonderful and highly effective and it works for me. its called sexual accelerator gel and has a picture of tera patrick on the package. it costs $7.95 in my town and a little goes a long way. another brands is ID plus. ID plus used to contain spermicide but no more. its now a sensitizing gel but i dont know if its any good. there are a lot of brands out there. places to look for them will be either an adult store or online. it will rock your world girls! i mean it will really make everything A LOT different. i would go into more details but i think this post is already a little too ditry so just go get some! if you want further technical details you can PM me or something.

oh yeah, another thing to add... i am very allergy prone and have never had a reaction to the tera patrick gel.

I'm hesitant to run out and buy more toys, because the ones i have don't do anything! Although, I haven't bought something that specifically stimulates the g-spot...hmmmm...still not sure if it would work. Is it just me or does anyone else require another person?? Without going into detail, i have a specific routine and position that works for me with a guy...i can't seem to recreate this with just a vibrator....

And after all is said and done, sometimes it just seems like too much work.

Ok, I'm sorry I'm only 17 :baby: and I haven't had sex yet! I'm just wondering what is the "G-spot" and also how exactly do you know you're having an orgasm, like what does it feel like, or whatever?

Orgasms are AMAZING! It's like nothing else in the world! Almost everytime it feels a bit different. The last time if felt like I was jumping off a cliff with fireworks going off over my head, other times it's like a rollercoaster, up, up, up, down for a bit, and up again...I don't know if this makes it any clearer :)

Anyway, it's very nice and afterwards you might have a warm fuzzy feeling or just plain blissful. My ex-partners have always thought it humorous that I fall asleep right away and they just want to chat and cuddle!

Ok, quick g-spot explanation. It's a very sensitive area located on the inside of the vaginal wall (about an 1 1/2 inside). When pressed it can cause an orgasm...for me, if i'm on top and sorta parallel to his chest, with my pelvis pressed against his, it hits the spot!

The Grafenberg spot (G-spot) is a sensitive area just behind the front wall of the vagina, between the back of the pubic bone and the cervix. Beverly Whipple, a certified sex educator and counselor, and John D. Perry, an ordained minister, psychologist, and sexologist, named the G-spot after Ernst Grafenberg. Dr. Grafenberg was the first modern physician to describe the area and argue for its importance in female sexual pleasure. The claim is that when this spot is stimulated during sex through vaginal penetration of some kind some women have an orgasm. This orgasm may include a gush of fluid from the urethra, which is not urine.

There is a certain amount of controversy among sex researchers regarding this theory. For women who have felt this gush of urethral fluid, or for those who have found a new pleasure spot, having a name for it confirms their experience. But remember, all women are not sensitive in this area, so be careful not to set up unrealistic expectations for yourself.
