For awhile now I've been having weird and yucky discharge. I thought it might have been a yeast infection since it was kind of cottage cheesy like and what not. It was never itchy though and was really just more of an inconvienence then anything else.
Now the weird thing I've noticed is I only get it at work..and it's just really odd. At least so it seems. It stopped when my period started after my monthly pill was over, but this month I'm starting the pill right away since I don't want to have my period at bonnaroo or durring my best friend's wedding that I'm standing up in..
any ideas?

hmm I have the opposite. The itch, but no discharge.
I think it still can be a yeast infection though.
As for it only happening at work, is the environment different to your home - in terms of temperature etc? Do you have wierd chair coverings?
Maybe that is having an effect. But to be honest..I don't know.
It is possible that that is "just the way you are". I thought I had a yeast infection ages ago because of a wierd discharge, and had some swabs done etc, and I was told all was ok, and it was just "me".

The pill can cause yeast infections so it may very well be one. Symptoms of yeast infection can be discharge and itching but that doesn't mean you HAVE to have the itching for it to be one.

you know, i had the same thing in highschool and decided it must have been the plastic chairs. i would only get it while sitting in class and no other time. i don't think i had an infection cause this went on for quite a while and i never had any other problems or any since then. i did find sitting with one leg tucked under so i wasn't resting totally on the chair helped.
sounds wierd and i don't know how or why a chair could have that effect but yeah..

Mine is clear, and very thin. What does that mean?!

Interesting, LF. I didn't know that could happen, either.

I don't think it's problematic if it's like that; I get that too and it's been happening randomly on and off for a few years...as long as it doesn't stink you should be fine. But if it's causing discomfort then it's time to worry.

That's probably your body cleaning itself out, FB. We women are so complex and amazing, huh?

I used to hate discharge but it's really kind of cool. I can tell where I'm at on my cycle depending on the consistency etc.

definitly. now if it was a weird colour or smelled really really bad or was really thick..then there would be a problem.
