I am not from Germany, but I have lived in Austria for 10 years and I guess this is as close as it gets... And my girlfriend is from Berlin, so there, I *can* post here :p

I'm thinking of moving to Germany in a couple of years... So, can I post here?

Anyone here live in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, or Dusseldorf?

Alrighty, then. What's the scoop? Major industries? Best neighborhoods? Schools? How veg-friendly is it? Give me the goods! :D

Well, I wasn't vegan when I still lived there so I can't really judge. But the times I went home for visits it was pretty decent. For vegetarians that is. There is plenty of non-meat options everywhere. It gets harder when you don't eat any dairy or eggs, I found it very hard to eat a balanced diet for an extended period without cooking everyday.

Epski, let me get back to you on the other questions :)

How nice that Switzerland is so convenient for you to go see!....Do you

to Germany or do you like both equally?

Old question (I haven't been around that much recently)... But I have lived in Munich now for nearly 18 months. What attracts you to Germany Epski? Its a great place, I'm very happy here.

That is Ums Thurman as The Bride in the Kill Bill Volume 1 movie directed by Quentin Tarentino. I like it cause she is a female that can kick some butt. I always wanted to go to England and visit. Haven't made it yet. Will be going back to the States this year so who knows if we will ever make it there. It would be easier to get there while we are here in Germany.

Ich werde im Sommer mal wieder nach Wien fahren :)

Yeah, I am living in Nova Scotia. Here it is pretty boring since my university is located in a really small town in nowhere.
