Hi! I have been finding it difficult to eat much this pg., not because of being sick just because I am not hungry, nothing tastes good or sounds appealing, and my stomach is being smooshed. I am lacto-vegetarian because I eat yogurt and cheese, which I know are both good protein.
My question is that I am at high risk for preterm labor and was told that it may help if I can eat 100grams of protein a day. I like to make yogurt/fruit smoothies at night and wondered if there was a safe protein powder that I could put in them to boost up the amount of protein.
I eat at least one energy bar a day for the protein, and pb, veggie burgers, whole wheat everything, veggie sausage when I feel like it for bkfst, beans, cheese, yogurt, granola, as much fruits and vegggies that I can.
Oh, that makes me think of another question, how do you find out the protein content of things that don't have a label-like the fruits and veggies?
Thanks for your help!! I am 24 weeks 3 days and doing great so far with baby #3!
