Common Gelatin-Free Meds

I was thinking, wouldn't it be easier if we could compile a list of common gelatin-free meds? Especially prescription stuff, where you can't always just check the bottle when it's being prescribed at the doctors office. Blood pressure meds, cholestorol meds, depression meds, anything.

This isn't a prescription, but my migraine medicine (store brand of Excederin Migraine) is gelatin free :)

Actually, why not extend it to those useful non-prescription things too. I was looking through my cabinets for something last night, and decided to check the ingredients --- at least 50% of the stuff there had gelatin.

Yeah gelatin is ridiculous, they seem to slip in so many parts of animals into things we wouldn't suspect it to be in. A doctor and myself laughed at the gelatin in vitamins, we dubbed it vitamin hoof. Did you take your vitamin hoof today? We can call companies but unless we visit it's just taking the word of a company. It's very hard for us to stop parroting what we hear and have been told, but I do agree that hoof and cartilage and whatever else falls in by chance needs to be looked at very carefully, and it would be nice to know about gelly free stuff. Education may be the key because the more that know means the more that will investigate, so let's teach people about the cartilage in products while looking for the ones that don't and make a list for the unknowing and all the while the anti-gelatin movement would grow until it eventually had a massive knowledge of what contains it and what doesn't.

When I was looking at supplements the other day, I saw a whole bunch of bottles of gelatin supplements. JUST the gelatin, nothing else. Yeah... who says to themselves, "I don't think I'm getting enough HOOF in my diet... I'd better take some in pill form"?!!??!
