Oh, hot damn! Blood Surf and Dinocroc both on the same day? Oh, medic! I am canceling the cook out plans, and will be planted in a chair watching two of the absoulte worst movies** ever made. Not to mention Shark Attack 2 and 3? Medic! Yup, tanked!

**I will be doing Tame's Rotten Tomatoes reviews for both soon. Dinocroc is done, I just need to research a few actors still.

Man, those made for TV movies (im assuming they are made for TV) on sci-fi are really bad. :-/

Actually, Blood Surf wasn't made for TV (it has one scene on the DVD where one slip of the camera would have made it a porno.) Neither were the Sharck Attack movies. Dinocroc might have been. Regardless, they can be pretty bad.
I also erred in the title. It is shark and crocodile day on SciFi. Blood Surf has sharks on the the cover of the DVD, but it is about a giant crocodile.

Actually I cant say theyre all bad, the early ones like Encrypt and Dog Soldiers were pretty good...they just got really bad over time.

a) Blood Surf wasn't made for viewing on any medium, TV or big-screen.

So what's behind this "thing" you have for sharks and/or movies about those animals?

Dog Soldiers wasn't one of those made for tv movies, even though it was on Sci-Fi. If you haven't seen the unedited version, go check out the DVD, it's one of my favs :)

I don't know. I have this fascination with large, underwater creatures since I was a kid. Might have started as a fear of being eaten alive, but now I just seem to like to critique them. They do seem to be clunkers more often than any other genre, so I try my best to find what redeeming qualities they have.

Are you insinuating that there is a version with even more gore than the one shown on TV?

Oh, they took out all the good parts for tv- I couldn't even watch the edited version -boring! The whole scene with the sarg's stomach ripped open, ect.... well, you'll just have to see for yourself, I won't ruin it :)

You mean when hes trying to push his intestines back inside him?
I thought the coolest part was near the end when one of the soldiers beats one of the wolf things up with pots, pans and kitchen utensils. :vebo:
Ashame they ganged up on him though....poor guy.
