Right, as the title says, I am a little concerned. And embarrased haha
I have been suffering from itchiness "down there" and I really have no idea what the hell is happening.
I'm sure it isn't thrush as I haven't had any wierd discharge.
I haven't had unprotected sex, I haven't changed washing powder/bath stuff and so on.
It was REALLY bad a few weeks ago so I slapped some savlon (antisceptic cream) on and it is now a lot better.
There is no redness, rash, bumps etc..it just feels like..well a shaving rash/hair regrowth itchiness but I am still a bit bemused..
I have a doctors appointment soon but if anyone has any ideas in the meantime I'd be thankful.
Oh, and I have recently had a smear and swabs done etc so I'm clear in that respect.

Did your doctor us latex gloves? You mentiond having an exam recently. Could be a reaction.

Wow. I don't know. Could it be a new detergent or fabric softener? Undies might be causing your irritation.

I have had those in the past (not afraid to admit it), and I used Cortizone 10 Plus. Its anti-itch, and very releiving. I would reccomend using it until you go to the doctors.

Has it been really hot where your at? When it's really hot I sleep pantyless. Gots to let the kitty breath! hehehehe..

But seriously, the air is really healthy for that area.

I've never had a yeast infection WITH discharge. I've only had the itchiness where I wanted to.. well anyway... it apparently was a yeast infection, and i had a diflucan, and got better.

I take one AZO tablet every day that I'm feelling a bit itchy. That seems to happen after I've had particularly vigorous sex or after I've shaved all the way.

This question isn't gross at all.

I sometimes get itchy down there after shaving. I also sometimes get that way if I wear tight jeans. Are your jeans maybe too tight?

The bad thing is (as with many homeopathic tablets) they have a bit of lactose in them. :notvegan:

Thanks guys!
It is actually a lot better. I wonder if I was a bit too vigouros in some of my activities haha.
I just wanted to add that its great having this forum because it takes sooooo long to get doctors appointments here and there definately isn't enough info around so its nice to have advice and reassurance from other women!
