:lick:
I've been eyeing these up for a while, and I finally succumbed to the junk food craving and bought some!
As junk food goes, the Realeat Fishless Fish Cakes are actually pretty healthy. Not too many calories per serving (just under 300 cals for two fishcakes) and, though there's 13g fat in two fishcakes, only 0.8g is saturated. 11g protein too.
Do they taste like fishcakes? Absolutely. I had to check the box while they were on the grill because the smell was just like real fishcakes. And I have no idea how they got them to taste so realistic. Even the texture is good -there are little soft chunks of 'fish' (I think it's a form of TVP).
And the best thing is that they are vegan and only cost £1.75 for a box of four. :hungry:
If you miss fish, you've gotta try these.
