I wanted to let you all know about an on-line store that my partner & I recently launched called Alternative Outfitters. We sell vegan (non-leather) shoes, handbags, accessories, and cruelty-free personal care and cosmetics. The website is www.AlternativeOutfitters.com
I hate spam as much as anyone, so I hope you do not take my post the wrong way. I just thought that some of you may be looking for a fashion focused vegan store. We were, and that's why we opened Alternative Outfitters. Please pass along the website to anyone you think may be interested!
If you decide to check out the site, I would love to hear what you think.
Thank you! :)
Jackie

We have started by focusing on women's shoes, handbags, etc. But if we have enough feedback from the guys, then we will eventually add men's products as well.
We do have cruelty-free personal care products too! Hair care and skin care made for both men and women.

That's a nice site! I would feel more comfortable ordering from your site if you didn't mention that you carry products with beeswax, carmine, and honey though. (Mentioned in the "about our products" section) Have you thought of going insect free as well?
...and your shoes are very cute with good prices!

It's a great site. It has a very trendy look and is easy to navigate. The only thing that would deter me from shopping there is that it states "only cruelty-free products sold here" yet on the same page, I found "some of the products we carry may contain honey, beeswax, or carmine".
I appreciate that you specify what is vegan though.

Thank you for your feedback!
I just wanted to let you know that we do not claim to be a 100% Vegan site, and we believe it is important to be clear about what is in the products that we sell. Almost every one of our products are vegan and none of our products are ever tested on animals.
Thanks for taking the time to check out our site. We are really interested in your feedback.
Regards,
Jackie
