I scored some cheap Yves Good dog today (2$/6 dogs). Since this is the first time I try this, I check out their website for more info......but found the following statement:
We’ve improved the taste of this all-time favorite to make it more authentic tasting. With added dairy and egg ingredients, The Good Dog now tastes more like a real meat hotdog! Still cholesterol free with no saturated fat and a good source of protein, it will be the star of your next barbeque or family hot dog night.
But the ingredients sounds ok:
Ingredients:
Water, vital wheat gluten, isolated soy protein, canola oil, natural flavor, hydrolyzed corn and soy protein, salt, modified cellulose, dextrose, torula yeast, spices, onion powder, natural butter flavor, garlic powder, carrageenan (from seaweed), natural liquid smoke, vitamin B1, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, iron oxide, iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium.
What's the deal??? :-/
