Just wanted to point out some great companies (http://www.veganpeace.com/Sweatshop_Pages/responsible_shopping.htm).
Spring is here! If you are in the mood for some cool new t-shirts, you can find some really nice ones at these stores.
I don't think we can advertise these companies enough! :sunny:

Buy organic products. Especially make sure bananas, chocolate and coffee are organically produced.

Why bananas specifically?

Nice site. I need to find good black t-shirts that are non-sweat shop. We sell shirts with our logo on them, but the guy who makes them uses Hanes. I need to find some cheap enough to be able to convince the co-owner of my site that it's worth doing.

Hi Tommy Gun!
For more info on bananas, you can best go here (http://www.globalexchange.org/about/findit.html) and type bananas in the search. That will give you a lot of articles about the banana industry.

I don't know what price you are looking for, but this company (http://store.yahoo.com/hemp-organic/wholesale.html) has wholesale blank t-shirts.

If that is not wat you are looking for, then I suggest contacting Pangea (http://69.44.63.212/service.html).
They know a lot about sweatshop-free t-shirts and are always very friendly and helpful.

Don't even get me started about the banana industry.

Banana industry = pesticides/exploitation of workers/birth defects...

For the longest time, I couldn't walk through the produce section of the grocery store because the site of all the Dole Foods and Del Monte products upset me.

Is there any where to buy Banana's that don't exploite workers? Seems like at the grocery store its always the same brand, everywhere I go...I've never seen another option before.

Buying organic bananas is a good start. Here's a link you might find useful:
