Has anyone tried the new Morningstar Farms Chili Pot Pie with Cornbread yet? I have one in my freezer that I just bought the other day, but as with any new veggie product I'm sort of apprehensive about trying it as some of the stuff tastes TERRIBLE! Just wondering if anyone had any reviews to share...

This is one of the few vegan Morningstar Farms products (vegan as of the last time I checked, anyway), and it's actually quite delicious! I really enjoy them. The store near me seems to have stopped carrying them, though...

Oh man, I love that stuff! It's the best. I found one store (Super Target) that still carries it around us, so anytime I'm out on that side of town I stock up.

I love that chili! They have a "chicken" pot pie one too, but the chili one is much tastier..in my opinion.
I love making my own chili too, with cornbread over top...what a great combo!

Another thumbs up here. The store that had them where I live stopped carrying them, though. I'd love to find them again. Very good!

I was at the grocery store last night, saw this product, and, based on this thread, bought one and ate it for dinner. :lick: A definite

The chili is nicely spiced too, not that bland stuff that one all too often finds at the grocery store.

Yeah, these taste really good. I try not to buy them too often, because of the really looooong list of ingredients on Morningstar Farm products, but every now and then I just say "If it's vegan, I'll eat it!"
And the cornbread tastes kind of sweet. Yum!

Be careful not to overcook it because then the cornbread doesn't crumble as nicely. Definetely going to have to get some more next time I'm out. : )
