Eat Luna Bars! They're vegan and not too high calorie or fat and full of vitamins and minerals. They taste about a million times better than power bars too.
My favourite flavours are... toasted nuts and cranberries, chai tea, nuts over chocolate, chocolate pecan pie, sesame raisin crunch, and smores.

I second the Luna bars, and would like to add one of their new flavors, Caramel Apple, to the list of really really good ones.

Odwalla (the ones that make the juice) make yummy bars too.
They taste like real food, not like processed bar-ie thingies. (but, for the record, Luna Bars are good too)

If you live in the Western United States, try Larabars. They are all natural fruit and nuts only, and freaking DELICIOUS. They taste like cookies and pie. Nice energy booster, with lots of natural vitamins and minerals.

my favorite luna bar flavors are cherry covered chocolate (didn't see that mentioned, it is delicious and pretty rich), nutz over chocolate, and the orange and lemon flavors.
i love odwalla juice and wish i could find the bars for sale around here. i am always looking for quick snacks to eat at work.
also, has anyone tried the alpsnack hemp bar things? i think they made by the people who make dr. bronner's soap. they are vegan and full of omega 3s, and i think the profits go to hemp advocacy. i wanted to hear feedback before i ordered some.

I had an odwalla bar once and I couldn't finish it. I found it to be very very gross. And I used to eat Powerbars :o

I like Luna Bars the best. They are actualy very yummy. My fav is the toasted nuts and cranberry. You can get them pretty inexpensivly at wal-mart or a grocery store.

I've had the peanut butter Odwalla bars and enjoyed them. Can't vouch for the other flavors.
I get these other bars from Organic Food Bars, but they're way expensive, if amazingly good. I usually only nosh on a couple a week. Lots of protein, omega-3's, etc.

I'm not a fan of odwalla bars. Too high in calories compared to their tastiness. Luna and clif bars are much better for the taste buds and the waist, IMO.

I think I will start eating the bars again...Does anyone know if inadequate protein intake will cause hair loss? :(

I like the vegan organic food bars. They are higher in fat/calories than the luna bars but they're made with more natural ingredients (almond butter, dried fruits, sprouted grains, etc... instead of isolated soy protein, fractionated palm oil and stuff like that) The luna bars are good, but I find their taste a bit artificial and I'm not that fond of the texture. I appreciate the fact that they're enriched with vitamins, though.

I like luna bars and cliff bars (the ones with coffee beans on them :sunny: ) but don't get them all that often. I just tried an odwalla bar today and liked it (it was the carrot kind). I have a box of random flavors that all sound pretty good. Winco has them for $.88 each. If luna bars and cliff bars were cheaper I would eat them more.

I had one of these yesterday, and it was very good! http://www.suncakes.com/Thrive.htm
They have added calcium too, so that's a plus. I am highly addicted to Clif Bars (specifically Chocolate Brownie)
