www.veganmercantile.com has some great clearance prices right now. It seems as if they're going out of business, which is a shame. They don't have much left, but there are still some really good things left at a steal, so check it out and maybe help them out a bit. :)

Unfortunately they wanted $31.95 to ship to me (FPO address - we always get ripped off.....hrmph).

Part of the profits go to fund the Mercantile site (and other veg sites) so I understand... as I skim read the "veggiepages" basic card-use proceedure outline, so how come then Mercantile is still supposedly disappearing? :confused:

Does anyone know of any mention of their possible comeback in the future?

I got the Ecco-Bella shadow, ear drops, chreesse mixes, a tote bag that says "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and has a fork on it doing something, and a bunch of other stuff I don't even remember now.

Crazy deals. I got way too many boxes of 123 Chreeze (it's supposed to be the electric orange of Kraft mac and cheese, MMM electric orange fake cheese powder), and organic cotton camisoles for $4 a pop! They have issue #2 of Herbivore for a buck. I've been meaning to check out that mag, now I have no excuse.

i was originally just going to get the issue of herbivore but to justify the shipping i ended up with the magazine, a 'praise seitan' t shirt, lip balm, 3 kinds of vegan ice cream sprinkles (did someone say, "make your own sundae party??"), and some yerba mate. my credit card has steam coming off of it from how fast that went down. i briefly considered emailing my fiancee and asking if he wanted anything and i know i would have ended up ordering 40 dollars worth of shells and chreese. but i can buy that anytime at shaws.

If anyone's looking for a great razor, I *highly* recommend the ones that they have (hok2, I believe the name is). I've had the Wally style for a while now and love it. It bends to your body's curves & I've never been cut from it. Vegan Unlimited & Vegan Essentials carry the refills.
