Have any of you used whitestrips with any success? I just bought some, and they seem pretty expensive but I was desparate. :p If not, what have you used to whiten your teeth with better results? I'm just tired of my dumb yellow teeth.

Thanks y'all!

Prior to becoming a vegan, I used Crest Whitestrips with much success. My teeth were pretty white compared to most people's to begin with, though.

I don't buy them now because they are not cruelty-free.

I wanted to try them, but my brother says they're dangerous to your teeth.

I used them before becoming vegan and they worked pretty well I remember seeing a noticiable diffrence. They were pretty expensive though.

My sister-in-law is a dental hygenist and she said to be careful with those whitening kits because most aren't gentle on your teeth and they can strip the enamel.
They are too expensive for my poor bank account right now plus they are made by P&C.

the white strips are considered to be the most effective of all the whitening systems.
Comparable to dentist whitening...

why do they have to be P&G???? that's stinky...

Auroralily - The only reason I used them was because the dental hygenist actually recommended them, otherwise I would have been worried. Maybe it's just a difference of opinion in the medical community or something.

I'm sure doing it occasionally is fine but I bet there are people that do it way to frequently and look like they are glowing!

I also heard that they had chemicals in them that are harmful to your teeth, esp. if they are sensitive.

On the other hand, even the wrong toothpaste can be harmful to your teeth if they're sensitive...But they do say you should only use them for a few weeks at a time.
