Tofutti

A week or two ago my parents (On weight watchers... Yes, my moms 117, and shes on Weight Watchers. I consider her crazy, she wants to hit 115.) decided to get Tofutti ice cream bars, because it said low fat, dairy-free. They were choclate. I tried one after they refused to eat them after the first one...


YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH.

Is it just choclate, or are they all horrible?

I've never tried it (they don't sell the icecream in Australia).
Try Soy Deleicious maybe? It's supposed to be amazing.

I'll try the Soy Delicious next time I go out. But, if you do want to gross yourself out, try a Tofutti Choclate Bar.

The Soy Dream (both kinds) that I have had has been nasty. Kind of has a plastic-ish after taste...not something i want to experience again. My family's fave is the Soy Delicious.

Which kind of Toffuti bars? They make several different ones. I've always thought that the vanilla Toffuti cuties (little ice cream sandwiches) were really good. The Hooray Hooray Bars are really really gross though :spew:

I've tried the Tofutti Chocolate Royale or something like that and it was just okay... The flavor was fine (except for a slight tofu-y aftertaste) but the texture was really icy and not too pleasant. I think I'd be better off just eating dark chocolate.

I had mint chocolate chip toffuti cutes and I thought they were better than real ice cream.

im a huge fan of all soy "ice cream" because it taste so real ( the milk doesnt fake it to well for me) my fave "fake" ice cream is rice dream ummmmmmmmm :hungry:

I like tofutti bars. Not my favorite, but good. Tofutti ice cream tends to upset my stomach though. Try Soy Cream or Soy Delicious. Not only do they taste better, they have better ingrediants (organic and you can pronounce all of the words).

i got the tofutti ice cream bars with vanilla ice cream on the inside and hard chocolate coating on the outside and thought they were awesome. i really didnt notice any difference between those and regular ones, actually. one thing i've found when buying soy delicious, though, is that sometimes it is real creamy and awesome and tastes so ****ing good, and other times it is not so good. i think it has to do with how long its been sitting in the grocer's freezer and whether some dumb ass left it sitting out in the sun while delivering it (this happens a lot more than you would think). maybe you just got an old crappy freezer-mutilated box?
