Does anybody know where I can find vegan dance shoes? like toe shoes, ballet shoes, tap shoes, etc. I've never been able to find a dance shoe with no leather in it. If you could help, I'd be super grateful!

PM Mskedi if she doesn't see this. I'm sure she knows a lot about tap shoes and possibly ballet shoes as well.

Hi!
You can get custom made pointe shoes from Grishko with synthetic soles. They can make 2 models with synthetic soles:the 2007 and Maya model.
I ordered 2 pairs 3 years ago.
Good Luck

For canvas slippers: http://www.grishko.com/slippers.htm
I've never been able to find satisfactory pointe shoes with no leather, so I've bought some with minimal amounts of leather in the past and sent complaints to the companies. At the moment, though, I have a very very gently used pair of Silhouettes in the equivilent of a US size 9, if anyone is interested in second-hand. Elastics are already sewn on, but I removed the rehearsal ribbons. They're already slightly broken in, but the box isn't really soft, so I doubt it molded to my feet or anything, and I alternated feet so they would break in evenly.
I doubt I'm going to go back to dancing again, at this point. *very sad sigh* I've been thinking of selling my nice leotards on eBay.

I've tried on a few pairs, but they didn't fit my feet properly. I had some Repertoires that had no leather once, and they were completely wrong for my foot, and I ended up breaking my little toe on my right foot twice, and it never healed properly. I wish Grishko would let you customise the box size and shape. That would have solved my vegan-ballet dillemma.
