I want to start paying better attention to the cosmetic products I buy. I'm not fully vegetarian (still eat some fish), and I eat milk products and eggs.

I use Herbal Essences shampoo, which states they don't test on animals. For other "cleaning" stuff I use Burt's Bees, Bath and Body Works, Dove soap, St. Ives, and Body Shop. For makeup I use Neutrogena, Maybelline, Revlon and Jane. I don't have loads of money to spend on cosmetic stuff but I don't want to be actively supporting animal cruelty. Can anyone let me know if the above products are good/bad and what alternatives I might have? Thanks!

Kiss My Face, Ecco Bella, Hemp Organics have good products.

You can get them online (Pangea, Different Daisy) or if you want to make a hike out to Clarksville you can get them all at Roots Mkt. (they have a pretty nice selection of vegan makeup and health care products). The address and number are in the MD forum :)

Hi MusicJudy!

Many of the product names you mentioned have been discussed here. If you do a search for any of those names, you will probably find what you are looking for. If you need help searching, feel free to ask!
I sell Arbonne products, which are vegan & cruelty free. My website is listed in my signature, so if you are looking to try something new, check it out :)
